Kyoujin is quiet for a few moments before sighing. “I’ll protect you.” He reassures Kirigiri as he turns his eyes back to the sky. Thinking to himself, Kyoujin finds himself wondering just how deep the rabbit hole he’s pulled in goes... Everything around them seems normal...

Kyoujin falls silent once again at the extra detail given about Izuru. “Hope...” It was strange to him that such a word is associated with Despair. Rather than being polar opposites, they seem to be on the same side of the table. Just to confirm...

Kyoujin remained still, listening. Mukuro’s description was rather brief, but clear. Short black hair, freckles, sister’s eye color. The Ultimate Soldier. Wait, sister’s eye color? “I don’t know what color they are. I’ve never seen any of these people in my life. What color are they?”
As for this Izuru person... Red eyes, very long black hair... That’s got him wondering a few things about this Izuru person. “Does he have an Ultimate Talent?”

He turns his gaze back to the sky, silent for a moment. “Mukuro Ikusaba. Izuru Kamukura.” He repeated softly. He hadn’t ever heard of these names before, which made sense since he doesn’t ever bother to interact with anyone in the first place nor pay any mind to the many voices that gossiped on the streets.

“Any specific faces I need to look out for?” He asks, hoping she’d at least have some idea being that she’s the Ultimate Detective.

“Junko knows where you live too?” He inquired with an intrigued tone. It seems interesting that Junko would obtain that information. “Any guess as to why?” Did Junko gather extra information for a possible back-up plan in the event someone broke free of her despair inducing manipulation?
Honestly, he’d imagine she’s already out there looking for Kirigiri...

Shizuka asked; though that question was almost rhetorical since he already knew the answer. He just wanted Ikusaba to outright admit it.

“Hm?” He turned his head to the side and watched Kyoko as she moved away to lay down. Once she’s settled and comfy in the grass, he relocates himself at her side again. Slowly, he lowers himself and lays next to her, his body still hidden in his cloak. He gazes upon the stars with her in silence, thinking to himself about the current situation. What is he going to do with Kyoko besides allowing her to stay with him? What will Shizuka say? More importantly, how is he going to help her with her current situation?

Kyoujin follows Kirigiri out once she passes him. Closing the shutter door behind him, he steps up beside her and drinks in the sight himself. The flowing water of the mini fall filled his ears along with the ambient night sounds of insects & amphibians singing to each other under the starry sky. It’s all too familiar, but rejuvenating each time nonetheless. He always came out here to escape the real world and sink into the cushions of his thoughts or just let the surrounding flora and fauna take him.
