All the posts on this tag right now ranting and mouthing off about a quote they read somewhere and didn't hear directly. So many of you don't bother to do your own research or try to understand when someone gets soundbit out of context. Timothee never said he doesn't support ballet or opera, he literally comes from a FAMILY of ARTISTS, he grew up in NYC Ballet with sister, his mother and grandmother were both professional dancers and performers. What he said was he hopes that film doesn't become a dying art similar to how ballet and opera have been withering on the vine and aren't considered the main ways to consume media and entertainment in this day and age. THAT'S IT. THAT IS ALL IT WAS. AND HE'S CORRECT.

If y'all are so incensed about that being true then go support your local arthouses. See Swan Lake or the Nutcracker this year. Get into some Lucia di Lammermoor. I support it! But one thing we're not gonna do is look for reasons to hate on someone just because of how we feel about them personally. All you do latching onto drama mongering is make yourselves look like stans. You're literally proving he is that guy. To be so eager to be in Timmy's business is just silly and downright infuriating when you really should ignore him and everything he has going on and keep it pushing. Please vacate the space and let the rest of us enjoy his success that he's earned and will continue to earn through talent and hard work.
