I'm a sensitive and emotional person. I get hurt and nervous easily, but I am also very easy to please. If someone does something sweet for no reason, I genuinely appreciate it, and reciprocate. If someone is rude or mean for no reason, I also reciprocate. It all depends on what the other person hands me. Because when you've been through as much shit in life as I have, you learn to give exactly what you are given. Nothing more, nothing less.

Longest 6 months of the year

My boyfriend’s job requires him to be out of the country for about 6 months. That means our relationship will always be half and half of living together and barely being able to even communicate. It’s not easy. He is my world. He makes my life a life. And I know it’s healthy to have time alone, but 6 months every year is a lot. The closer it gets to the time when he has to leave again, I get nervous and desperate. But I know that no matter what tantrum I throw, or beg or cry, I can’t stop him from leaving.

We have about one month left. All I can do now is cherish our moments together; enjoy having a hand to hold, an ear to listen, a heart that understands, and a man that loves me.
