I don’t think I’ll ever be able to express or thank you enough for just being you. How the ease at which we communicate suddenly makes the others seem insignificant. How the love that you show me awakens my heart to the fact that what I once had with others was not love, but rather our unfinished business spilling out on to each other. That was sweet hurt. It was sweet resolving. With you– I can tell you anything. You support me, you make me laugh, you make me want to be a better person. You make me real, honest, belly laugh. I feel like you’re still going to make me laugh that way when we’re 56 and our beauty has faded. The way I feel for you is so much deeper than the surface. I feel like I see your soul.
