Happy Birthday Doodle. You would have been celebrating your dirty 30 today. I miss you so much. I keep trying to write meaningful things but all that keeps coming out is how much I miss you. I miss having a friend as close as you who truly understood how it felt to live this life we were given. I miss our talks and how after I would get off the phone and feel a little less upset or resentful at the world. We hung out in the same room maybe a handful of times for just a few minutes, but you were my only real connection to the CF world for a long time. I miss being able to share that bond with someone I’m really close to. It can get pretty lonely now, but I always keep you close. Always. Happy Birthday doodle.

Ps- Florence came out with a new album and although I bet you’d love it, I think you got to enjoy the best of her stuff.

In Switzerland the farmers put bells around their cows necks. The bigger the bell, the more milk the cow produces from my understanding. Some bells are bigger than a humans head! They’re beautiful. When you go up into the mountains all you hear is the wind and bells off in the distance from all the cows roaming freely in the mountains. The first time I arrived in Lauterbrunnen I cried because I never thought I’d see something so beautiful. I want to go back and hear those bells again one day.
