Hallelujah I Love Her So
Composed and recorded in 1956, this rhythmic and bluesy ode to love predates the success the wonderful Ray Charles would see in the later years.
It's joyful, uplifting, and clocks in at over five minutes; more than enough time to confess love for someone.

Here's a catchy pop tune for all the boys and girls!  If you ever thought to yourself that you needed a tune to be lovingly ambiguous and drawn out (never-the-less well put together), then boy-howdy do I have a song for you!
From their debut album Spice, this mid-nineties song made it high up the charts until people put the lyrics under some scrutiny for being 'confusing'.

Instead, I found out why Damion is such a damn good song writer.
His life is epic, moving, and inspiring because he gets inspired from life itself.

It's an emotional song (well, the quite frank, the whole album is emotional) and it brings to light a whole 'love/hate' thing going on with Damion, life, and religion. Â Well, there's also some love/late towards women too, but what's love if not one big war?

You know, there is an inherent annoyance when getting you music offline.  I  got this song back when I thought P2P servers were cool so when someone labeled this a collaboration song featuring Disturbed, Static-X, and Slipknot, I said "Hell yeah, bring on da collab!"
I had no idea how to talk back then, either.
No, as it turned out, this song is by a band called The Clay People. Â They've done industrial rock, synthetic rock, regular rock... granite rock? and have had an on-again/off-again relationship for years now.
If this sounds familiar to you but you've seen it with a different packaging, then maybe you've seen the movie, Universal Solider.
Or maybe you're all like, "Hell yeah, bring on da rock, yo!"

Megalomania
The organ that is being played in the background come with an interesting story; one that goes along these lines:
Bellamy has described the recording of this anti-church song, using the organ at St. Mary's Church, Bathwick, as a "dark moment" in his life. The vicar of the church insisted on seeing the lyrics to the song before allowing them to use the organ, although none had yet been written for the song. Bellamy proceeded to write out some "positive", "nice" lyrics for him and he allowed them to record the song
The song itself is dark, foreboding, and asks -pretty much - why procreate when life and the promise of a better place afterwards is all a ruse?
It's a work of art, as is most Muse songs.  Each one seems to be lovingly crafted before delivered.  Add to that the method and style of Matthew Bellamy's voice and each song is worth listening to.
Seems there are hundreds, if not thousands of you out there who rally behind the conventional reviews out there and cry, "A Thousand Suns was my jam!"
I can't agree with you all more.
I found my love with this album during my sort run as a runner, choosing its beats, flow, and message to really get me pumped.
This is just a shout out to you true LP fans and and thank you for making me see my blog as yet another bridge used to reach out to those who appreciate the art of music...
not just the fame.

Pair this is the creepy and haunting âWisdom, Justice and Loveâ, and you begin to think there might be more to gang of Linkin Park than keyboards and raps.  Oh, and screaming.
Canât forget screaming.

I will never get over how much of a true piece of art this album is. Not that the otherâs arenât, but this one is just that amazing.
A Thousand Suns is so horribly underrated. I hate that people canât see past âthe changeâ in Linkin Parkâs sound to appreciate the beauty, artistry and depth of this album.
Exactly. People expect things as if they really control the sound of the music⌠they donât. Linkin Park can pull off anything, really. The amount of effort, creativity and layering emotions bound into A Thousand Suns is incredible. And everything seems to flow into each other- all the songs vary exetremely on the album but theyâre all linked somehow. That is one of the hardest things to find in any album, yet Linkin Park can do it. True artists⌠Coming from someone who listens to various genres and a musician as well, they can pull off everything that no one can in infinite ways. Thatâs how itâs hard to choose a favorite of their work.
I glad to see someone else loving the various genres out there. Â Also, this a land mark for me, as this is the first post I've ever done to mark a conversation like this.
