Contraluz
Contraluz are a Indie/Rock band from Lisbon (Portugal). At the end of the last year they had their debut album "Onze". Introducing Des Cortez! A trio hailing from the suburbs of Melbourne Australia, these boys have taken the local underground music scene by storm. Rounding up many plays on Triple J's 'Unearthed' and a tight-knit fanbase around the country, these boys seem to have a promising music career ahead of them. Highlighted by lead signer Sam Knight's gruff and hazy voice that wears the Aussie accent with pride, this band is sure to be enjoyed by fans of: The Grogans and Hockey Dad.
B180, is a song that perfectly encapsulates the feelings of having a sibling and as you watch them grow into the person they are. Whichever direction that is. The use of Knight's voice is able to perfectly embody the feelings of anxiety and concern that one has when they watch their siblings make questionable decisions, whilst the band's instrumental ties it all together to really give the song that punch of ambiguity and almost 'loneliness' that comes with your teenage years.
Always good to know some new ones.
Sound of Society - Shoot the Lights Out
Sound of Society is a collaborative project by Oliver Charles (Montreal Singer-Songwriter). This May 19th 2023, they released one of many singles called "Shoot the Lights Out" with a Mad Max type music video that portrays the last humans on earth. Inspired by mainstream alt-pop music, they've traveled across the Atlantic ocean to unite their distinctive talents. This single works well with playlists like Pop Favourites and Pop Rising.

Dreamer in the soul, MAXIIM has a pronounced taste for the music since his youngest age. It is this penchant for music that he communicates in his melodious voice combined with the piano. His works breathe delicacy, echoing a universe that inspires reverie. These are themes of profound importance to Maxiim, who is determined to convey emotions as poignant as they are sincere through his work. His jazz studies and the influences of Patrick Watson and James Blake are felt through enchanting pieces and a bewitching melancholy carried by a sensitive and poetic voice. MAXIIM is preparing the release of its first album which should be released very soon.

TREIZE
The electro-pop duo TREIZE was founded in 2018 by the French brothers Florian and Quentin Dessut. The musical sounds of the duo are characterized by a strong influence of New Wave and electro groups of the 80s. The duo have performed in several sold-out concert-hall, including the Maison de l'Occitanie, the Château de Mauvaisin (31), Le Taquin and L’Ouverture as the opening act for Arnold Turboust. On January 10, 2020, TREIZE filled the Music Box of the Métronum in Toulouse for a milestone concert with unreleased tracks and the screening of video creations that allowed the public to immerse themselves in the universe of the duo. On the occasion of this concert, the two brothers aroused a certain interest in the media: interviews on RTL2 Toulouse, FMR, Radio Campus, France Bleu Occitanie, Culture 31 ... The duo's music videos were directed, produced and shot by the two brothers themselves. Le duo électro / synthpop TREIZE a été fondé en 2018 par deux frères toulousains. Fortement influencé par les groupes New Wave et électro des années 80, le duo a sorti en 2019 son premier EP, SPLEEN, caractérisé par ses sonorités faussement joyeuses. Artistes protéiformes, les deux frères ne se contentent pas d’être auteurs compositeurs. Ils réalisent également eux-mêmes leurs clips et leurs visuels. Ils ont aussi créé leur propre label. Le duo a enchainé plusieurs concerts, soigneusement choisis (le Métronum, première partie d’Arnold Turboust, la Foire de Marseille...) et ont suscité un intérêt médiatique certain (interviewes sur RTL2, FMR, Radio Campus, France Bleue, Culture 31, Intramuros...). TREIZE a été programmé et nommé groupe révélation de la 1ère édition du GREEN PINK FESTIVAL le 9 juillet 2022.

It fills me with such pride and joy to announce that my version of Speak Now will be out July 7 (just in time for July 9th, iykyk 😆) I first made Speak Now, completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20. The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions and wild wistfulness.
