After being subjected to this on TikTok, I became fascinated with the song. Apparently it was used in the movie “death proof” which I put in my Netflix queue 20 odd years ago and still have never seen.

Apparently it’s a Serge Gainsbourg song, which is less surprising then the fact I don’t remember hearing it before, especially since it was also in “but I’m a cheerleader,” which I definitely have seen.
