Rate Adjustment Effective January 1, 2026

Dear Kimberly Taylor Music families, First and foremost, thank you! Many of you have been part of my piano studio for months or years, and your loyalty, kindness, and love of music are what make teaching such a joy every single week.

Because of you, I’ve been fortunate to keep my rates unchanged for over six years.

With the steady rise in costs since 2019 (and especially the last couple of years), it’s time for a modest adjustment so I can continue offering the same care, preparation, and musical opportunities you’ve come to expect.

Beginning January 1, 2026, monthly rates will be:

Virtual lessons (30 minutes) – $125 Lessons at my home studio (30 minutes) – $130 Lessons in your home (30 minutes) – $135

These gentle increases, $5 to $10 per month depending on lesson location, are my first since 2019 and will help cover rising expenses while keeping lessons accessible and sustainable for the long term.

January invoices (sent in late December) will reflect the new amounts.

As always, my phone and inbox are open if you ever have questions. I’m so grateful to share music with each of you and your children every week.

What a treasure to listen to all my students perform @ Friendly's in Berwyn. It was my great honor to bestow upon Joshua P to be the first recipient of the final Technique Band, Titanium, officially declaring him an Advanced Level with Debussys Claire de Lune, Level 10 RCM!

I recently came across an incredible young musician, Ayame Stroh, who is seeking donations for her Italy Tour. She and her parents set up a stand at a farmers market to help her achieve her dream. Congratulations to my student Alessia for taking the plunge and signing up for a Practicum Piano Performance Exam from The Royal Conservatory of Music! To be prepared, Alessia learned and memorized three different pieces, scales, ear training, major VS minor, and rhythm memory. I am hopeful and excited for her exam will go very well!
