Please refer to me as Mod Fliss or Campion, I use it/its pronouns! I’m a Fliss fictionkin and physical Captain Campion fictionkin (though I have many other ‘types!) My main is @patchofglass !!

Any and all fictionfolk are allowed here - kffs, kinsidering, kins, fictives, and everyone in between!!

This is not a canon call blog!! Please do not send asks treating it as such. I do not prevent you from looking for sourcemates’ submissions here (I even encourage it!!), but I do not want asks looking for sourcemates. If you would like to reach out to me by the chance I am a sourcemate of yours, please go to my main or kin blog!

You may send in songs made by problematic artists, but I will not post your submission if you blatantly support them or if the song is relating to what they’ve done (for example: “Evening Wear” by MSI could slide, but “Romantic Homicide” by d4vd would not be posted.)

I got veryyyy emotional about a line in the song “7 O’Clock” by Penelope Scott so I thought I should share it, and a few other lyrics that make the song basically a fictionfolk anthem to me.

The line I got emotional about: “We never existed, I continue to not!”

Some more lines: “A glitch in the game, I loop like a bug / And all that I ever wanted was a really tight hug!” … “A brand new beginning and I’m already done” … “The future is static, it drips on the floor” … “And all I ever died for was another tight hug!”

I don’t know, I just love this song a lot and it feels very…“yearning for a home that no longer exists”. Anyone else crying about the fact they’ll never be home again?

I'd say that the song "Harvey" by Her's is quite me and Griefer coded.

I loved him. As much as I could, at least. After everything with the swords, I couldn't bear the thought of a connection. Not necessarily "fear" of intimacy (I literally killed Fear with my own blade.), but the closest thing I could get to it. And also, there was the fact that after my adventure... I didn't know what was going to happen. Would I get sent back to my time? Would I ever see him again after this all? And like. I didn't really care about myself, but I couldn't do that to HIM. Couldn't give him my connection just to be ripped away.

But...

I couldn't pull away. As much as I didn't want to admit it, I cared about him. He was charming, in his own special way. I enjoyed my time with him. I found myself wanting to come back to him over and over. I just liked him, okay??

He was the only one who really understood me. (I know Kyoko tried to be there for me, but we didn't really talk often enough to be that close.)

and over the course of my adventure, we grew closer. I wasn't sure what we were, but we were sure as hell something. Friends, partners, rivals, its all the same thing, right? I could feel myself yearn to stay like this. Stay there. In the past. With him.

but uhh. Now that I can feel things a bit better (i have alexithymia so i still cant feel them that well AND im aroace and i still have a fear of intimacy. but like. my emotions arent literally just fucking dead) I can say that...

I love you, Griefer. Brad Thaniyel. My Brad. I miss you. I hope we find eachother again. I'll keep looking for you. And I hope you're looking for me too. I'll be waiting.

One of my personal favorites is Machine Love by Jaime Paige! Listen I love sad melancholic songs about sentient ai as much as the next guy, but it’s honestly sooo refreshing having one so upbeat and joyful to keep coming back to. It hits the nail on the head regarding a lot of my feelings as robot/fictionkin, and my disjointed relationship with my identity and humanity. Love that I can get that from a song that doesn’t make me want to bawl my eyes out every time I hear it

This song is so incredibly meaningful to me, I did a one man show of it to ask Fang out in my canon. He loved it and we started dating!! It was super duper cheesy of me, I know, but I’m so happy it’s how we got together 🫶 I believe it was our wedding song too post canon

Also not kin related but I went to a bear ghost concert recently AND I GOT A KAZOO FROM IT!! For the Kazoo solo during Peas n love haha
