Does anyone else remember when Elon was like "if anyone knows how to end world hunger for 6 billion USD, I'll fund it" and UNICEF was like "we're going to spend a month to make a plan to end world hunger for 6 billion USD and Elon is going to fund it" and Elon was like "actually, nah" and then bought Twitter instead?

I think that was one of the worst things I'll ever see in my life.

I still think that should be the thing for which he's the most famous. It should be brought up every time he's mentioned. In any news article, any interview, any history book. "Elon Musk, who was offered a chance to end world hunger and turned it down." Put it on his fucking gravestone.

What if I am all the things that are wrong with me? My lonliness is caused by own fear. My pain is caused by my own inability to let things go. If I can't have my soulmate, and I can not settle in any good conscious. Perhaps am I meant to walk this world alone.

If I would open up, it could be different and it could be fine. But how can I change when I am frozen in time.

i am not gonna lie a lot of you seem to be treating "presumption of innocence" as a technicality, a legal loophole, a little *wink wink, nudge nudge* "he's the shooter lol except uuuh presumed innocent amirite" when talking about the mangione trial

some posts will have a "well we just don't know, he could have done it but he also could have not" stance thats Slightly better, but even that is not enough.

Luigi Mangione is innocent. the prosecution, during the trial, would need to produce convincing, direct evidence (not the stupid forged shit the cops obviously planted) and i highly doubt that they'll be able to, hence why they're banking on getting everyone to treat him as the shooter already.

As the man himself said: This is completely unjust and is an insult to the intelligence of the American people and their lived experience.

What is the difference between helping a friend in need and enabling them? Are your actions creating an atmosphere where they can solve their problem? Or are you putting safeguards in place for them to continue as they are without making the necessary changes needed to be self-reliant and content with their life?

People will only change if they want to change. Be available for support, but only they can lift themselves up.

Just be peace. Be your own peace, and let them find peace in you.
