I’m 26 and I still don’t have my life together at all, I have no idea what I am doing, but you know what? That’s totally okay.

Alhumdulilah, every day is a blessing and the point where I am at, as confusing as it is, is also a blessing and it’s preparing me for what is to come. Trust Allah, even when you don’t know what is going on. I don’t know where I should put my efforts, who and what should I give my time to but Allah won’t leave me here. He might delay everything but it’s for the best, His wisdom is something we cannot understand but this is where we prove our faith by trusting Him completely. As frustrating as it may get, as tiring as it may be for your heart, Allah knows exactly what He’s doing and who is a better disposer of affairs than Allah subhana wa ta’ala?

Assalamu ‘alaykum everyone.

I have been told about a new organization that seems really cool and educational. It has a lot of inspiring posts so please give them a look. Their main website is https://www.arriqaaq.com/ and you can access their courses at https://www.arriqaaq.com/courses many of their courses are for sisters only so that’s great for us sisters as typically we don’t get that type of comfort learning.

They’re also working on a project called Letters from the soul https://www.arriqaaq.com/lettersfromthesoul whom they are in need of contribution for. It’s like the Muslim chicken soup book. They have questions posted on the link above so if you can post a heartfelt response, please do. The end book is nonprofit, it will be freely accessible in sha Allah, so it’s a good cause to inspire.

Who is Muhammad ﷺ?

Ibn al Qayyim رحمه الله said :

❝The Prophet ﷺ used to greet the children when he ﷺ passed by them. Sometimes, a little girl would take him (ﷺ) by the hand and he ﷺ would allow her to lead him (ﷺ) wherever she wanted. He ﷺ would be in the service of his family when at home. Never would he ﷺ become angry becase of something personal. He ﷺ used to repair his own sandals and mend his (ﷺ) own torn clothes. He ﷺ would milk his (ﷺ) goat himself for his own family. He ﷺ used to feed his (ﷺ) own camel.

He ﷺ used to eat with his (ﷺ) servant, sit in the company of poor people, and personally take care of the needs of widows and orphans. He ﷺ would be the one to initiate the greeting when meeting people. He ﷺ would respond to the humblest of invitations

He ﷺ lived a very modest lifestyle, a man of soft manner, naturally kind, easy to get along with, having a pleasant smile on his (ﷺ) face, gracefully humble, extremely generous but not wasteful, soft-hearted and gentle in his (ﷺ) dealings with each and every Muslim, lowering the wings of humility to the believers, bearing their relationship in such a gentle way.❞

One of my sons asked a shaykh, "Give me some nasiha (advice)...anything which you feel will benefit me."

The shaykh responded, "Have adab (good manners) with people. You don't even need a lot...just a little bit is enough. We live in a time when adab is so rare that if you have even a little bit of good character, you will win hearts and you will go far in life. Just have adab, my son. That is enough."
