It was almost exactly one year ago that we first learned about the awesomely surreal and whimsical collages of California-based artist Eugenia Loli (previously featured here) So let’s celebrate the anniversary of that wonderful discovery with a collection of Loli’s recent work using images scanned from vintage magazines. From girls playing croquet with spiral galaxies and swinging from airplanes to a mermaid lounging under the Golden Gate Bridge and a giraffe sipping soup made of tropical lagoons, Loli’s collages are scenes from dreams we wish we’d have or animated shorts we’d love to see.
To check out many more of her beautifully bizarre collages, follow Eugenia Loli here on Tumblr at @eugenialoli and visit her Flickr account. She also make prints of some of her work available for purchase here.
