Bullfrog tadpoles are the aquatic larval stage of the American bullfrog, characterized by their dark green to black coloration, arrowhead-shaped bodies, and significant size, reaching up to 6 inches in length. Unlike many other frog species, they are notably large, possess a prominent dorsal fin, and have a slow development cycle that can last two to three years before metamorphosis.
During their aquatic life, they are primarily herbivores, grazing on algae, periphyton, and decaying vegetation along pond shorelines. They develop hind legs first, followed by front legs, while their tails shrink and lungs replace gills. Once they transform into froglets, they become carnivorous, feeding on insects, small fish, and other small animals

A piebald deer is a white-tailed deer with a rare genetic mutation that causes random patches of white and brown fur, similar to a pinto horse. Affecting less than 1% of the deer population, they differ from albinos by having brown eyes, black hooves, and normal dark noses.

Young bat-eared fox
Phototaken in the Masai Mara
Technically the bat-eared fox is not a true fox and those ears are used for hunting, but also for thermo-regulation. The bat-eared fox tends to feed almost exclusively on termites, as an additional fact, the consumption of those termites means that this fox rarely (if ever) has to drink water, instead it is able to get all the hydration it needs from the termites
