* She hits off immediately with Shuri, enjoying the girls snarky sassy personality
* Upon meeting the Jabari leader he dismissively refers to her as a Colonizer
* Her response is “Excuse you, I’m Jewish Irish. My family never colonized anything. Hell we fled our homes to escape mass genocides. So coo coo achoo to you King of the Ents, seriously though… think you’re tall enough!?”
* She proceeds to hold her own sarcastically against the man, and he can’t help to be both amused and admire the tiny outsider
* Shuri does her thing and finds out all about Darcy’s history, learning about her new friends abusive childhood
* Upon learning of what the woman survived and endured, they can’t help but admire Darcy

* Darcy being so captivated and fascinated by all the cultural beauty as well spirituality. She wants to learn as much as they’re willing to teach her.
* Eventually Darcy earns nicknames of affection from the others.
*M’Baku refers to her as ‘Little Tiger’ because of how fierce she can be
* Once when she needed to yell at the Jabari leader, Darcy had to stand on a chair to get eye level. The man couldn’t help but be ridiculously amused by the sight.
* But that height difference though…
* All of the snark matches between them.
* The one time he got too aggressive in body language it triggered a panic attack for Darcy because of her past regarding abuse. And Shuri tore into the Jabari for being a bull-headed man.
