since that piece of shit website goatlings is gone, time to share some fun facts about it! - there WAS indeed a secret artist blacklist! despite staff denying its existence, whether because they didnt know or just didnt want to admit, multiple users on goatlings were blacklisted and purposefully ignored. in my case it was over an item design unintentionally resembling a character from a comic. at no point was i ever informed of this, so i couldnt correct this issue, and my designs were ignored FOR SEVERAL YEARS despite many other users wanting them!

- even more hilariously, a SITE artist ripped off of my own work, and even got the design in. goatlings users might remember this as the brainworms goat. initially it was just berrymilk's design, which i asked to do a redesign of. coincidentally, the newest iteration of this design lifted many aspects of my redesign. not once was i asked about this, nor was credit given. and even when i poked the artist, she pretended to look the other way.

- kris refused to pay real money to the pair of anonymous programmers who fixed her site during an emergency, from some broken code on a user's page somehow breaking things, and instead offered to pay them in useless site currency (despite neither of them playing the game too!) hope yall enjoyed these goatlings fun facts

why did i never say anything about this while the website was up? because i didnt want the design taken off the site. i love the final iteration of it, to be clear. but there is no denying that multiple additions i made to the original were taken and repurposed, and i was never once asked about this, nor was i given any sort of credit or recognition.
