Special Guests Booked For 2014 Gigs!

Already, we have some fantastic guest artists booked to perform with us on various dates throughout 2014! We will be keeping the details under wraps until next year, just to keep you guessing! Our video of Walter's 'Inside' has reached No.2 in the UK Jazz Video Chart on Reverbnation after just one day! And we are edging ever closer to the top ten in the audio charts - No.15 so far! It's All Go For Mutaru!

Hi Everyone from the Mutaru Jazz Fusion Trio! (www.mutaru.co.uk) Mutaru are looking forward to a busy end of year, with warm-up gigs for the tour in 2014. Walter is writing some fantastic numbers, with Ash and I working on the bass and drum parts - all of which will appear on the debut album. We've no name for it yet, but Romy Rey will be designing the cover, and it will been a ten track CD. Romy's work appears on our EP, 'Eye Contact', which will be released around October time. We've compared ourselves to bands like Vital Information, PSP, Lee Ritentour, Mike Stern and so on, but even this early we are seeing a quick development into a more eclectic trio - Out material is more a mix of up tempo fusion numbers, with dynamic variation and dramatic passages, but alongside more languid, mood based number, more suited to brushes and a fretless bass. So hopefully, we are going to appeal to a much wider audience! Will keep you posted on EP and album progress, and particularly our live dates - for us, that's what it's all about - gigs!!
