[A smile appeared on Gino’s face upon hearing Ernesto’s words before he nuzzled against his cheek.]

[Gino’s smile turned into a smirk at Ernesto’s words, yeah his big brother would show them! He still felt tired after having that nightmare...]

Let me read ya a story before you go back to bed, o-kay?
[Gino nodded his head before resting it against Ernesto’s shoulder as he carried him and letting out a yawn.]
That's my boy, Gino!~
[Ernesto carried the small cat beastman, Gino, to where the personal quarters of Gino is to open the door and get inside with his free hand. Then he walks a bit to arrive at Gino's bed, gently placing him down, careful on not rustling the boy before he pulls up a chair and aat down]
Now, which book you wanna read? Hmmm~?
pulls out a couple of books to just put on his glasses,
Maybe the princess and the dragon....the adventures of the dragon siblings: Pitaya Dragon and Ananas Dragon...And all the other ones...
hums while reading the titles of all the other books
[Gino looked at the books as he laid on the bed, thinking for a moment before pointing at the one about the dragon siblings.]
Ah! The Dragon Siblings! Quite the unique pair, aren't they~?
takes the book and puts the other books away, opening it as he leaned back against the chair,

turns pages to the beginning
Are you ready, Gino?
[Gino nodded his head at Ernesto’s question, waiting for him to start reading the story.]

Once upon a time, long long ago before witches became the pure purpose of sorcery to the orcs roaming around with no language barrier, there live a small dragon family in the Center of Dragons. Many dragons roam around, including the small dragon Family which included six beloved siblings in the Center of Dragons. The Eldest, wisest of them all, was named Longan Dragon. The second oldest, beautiful of them all, was named Lotus Dragon. The middle children, one known as the fierce one and the other known as their arrogancy, Pitaya Dragon and Ananas Dragon. The second youngest, loving of them all, Lychee Dragon. The youngest, baby of them all, Snapdragon. The six dragon siblings all have a purpose in this city of dragons: Protect all dragons and human kind equally. It was a simple yet hardworking task that the sibling dragons had to work together when time was needed.
However, there was a problem: the twins. Because of Pitaya Dragon's fierce, hot-headed fighting spirit and Ananas Dragon's arrogant, prideful royal spirit clashing against each other, the two made quite the chaos between the dragon kind and the human kind. Not only destroying beautiful architecture from the Dragons, but also the humans' homes. Even when countless of times of being scolded and half-apologies from the twins, they kept going at it! Buildings, homes, huts, all of what your mind can think of were destroyed from the twins' battles to almost costing a life! Oh, the horror! How can two prideful headed dragons battle against each other to the point of getting one dragon almost be a part of it!? That won't do! The Eldest had enough of both of them....
[Gino listened as Ernesto began to read the story about the dragon siblings. His eyes were half closed but he tried to keep them open and stay awake as he continued to listen. He was so tired that it was getting hard to keep his eyes open…]
What the eldest did was boldly insane: They sent the twins out to recollect the most precious eye gem together. No challenges separate, no bribes, just a quest for the both to complete together. However, the twins didn't quite comprehend the term 'together,' and made it a challenge against each other! Even after the eldest kick the twins out of the Center of Dragons to the outside world. In that point and forward, they kept bickering, bantering, even pulling up some fights along the trail...
Until! They reached the forbidden bridge of the troll, where a mean, ridiculous troll lived under the bridge, waiting for a poor unfortunate soul to barge in his bridge. When they reached there, the troll appeared! Giving them a scare! But the troll laughed in response to only say "Riddle me this! What's four legs, two extra limbs, one lash in it and can't stand at all?" The twins avoiding looking at each other and looked straight at the troll "A dog!" "A cat!" "A griffin!" At the same time, the twins kept going at each other with different answers...but the troll snapped at them, tired of their absurdity, "CHILDREN! Don't you see? You two are here for HOURS because you aren't trusting yourself to be with each other! Why can't yall help each other and figure it out?" The dragon twins paused at that, finally looking at each other. "Working with each other huh..." Pitaya Dragon mutter to themself, "Never...thought about that....." Ananas Dragon considered it to themself as well before the twins looked themselves straight in the eyes an nodded, crowding themselves to be in a huddle, whispering here and there for a couple of minutes until the two separating with a smile on their face: "A Dragon!" The both siblings exclaimed at the same time in confidence, "Correct! You may pass!" The troll replied back, almost gleefully in relief a the troll hops off of the bridge, swinging himself below to let the twins pass!
[As his big brother kept reading the story Gino’s eyes eventually fully closed and he was beginning to doze off before he woke himself up and looked at Ernesto with a sleepy frown.]
[Ernesto was patiently reading the story until he noticed his younger brother's frown, making him frown in concern yet a hint of curiosity]
What's wrong, My Dear Gino?
You don't like the story?
[Gino looked sleepily and apologetically between his big brother and the book, his feline ears drooped down.]
Awh, no need to apologize, my Dear Gino! It's quite alright if you don't like it!
Do you want me to stop reading this story?
[Gino nodded his head at Ernesto’s question. He did…]
Ahhh, I see!
closes the book and puts it away with a pat of his palm
Then what do you want, My Dear one?
[Gino tried to sit up on the bed, looking at Ernesto with his eyes half closed. He tilted his head at his big brother, wondering if he could have another hug.]
Ah....
slowly scoots to sit on Gino's bed, the bed cushion sinking with his weight before he extends his arms to Gino,
Would you like a hug?
[Gino nodded his head with a smile on his face as he managed to sit up, holding his arms up and clinging onto Ernesto. Despite being so tired he was also happy.]
already had his arms gently guiding the cat boy to his chest, being careful with the accessories as he gently held the boy,
Better, My Dear Gino?
[Gino nodded his head again at Ernesto’s question, that sleepy smile still on his face. His eyes were closing again and he was beginning to fall asleep in his big brother’s arms.]
quietly places his cheek on top of the cat boy, gently rubbing his cheek against the small boy's head like a fox mom loving on her cubs while he hummed a quiet tune
[Gino let out a content purr in his sleep as his big brother rubbed his cheek against his head.]
happily purrs, continuing on rubbing his cheek against the cat boy's top of the head like a fox mother,

Goodnight, My Dear Gino
[Gino was still asleep before he eventually began to wake up. When he woke up he noticed his big brother still there… he nuzzled against his cheek before pulling away and beginning to walk off before stopping and looking back towards Ernesto.]
[Ernesto was KO, literally sleeping in the weirdest position known to mankind....How can he sleep like that???? Well, we don't know but come on, Gino's bed was small so....he had to make it work on how to sleep while also not leaving Gino's side]

[Gino stood there and thought for a moment before walking back towards Ernesto and attempting to wake him up.]
loud ahh snore

[Gino continued to try to wake his big brother up before giving up, looking towards him with a frown on his face. Should he just go back to sleep..? He didn’t want to leave Ernesto’s side.]
dead asleep until he suddenly sneezes, waking himself up

pauses as he notices Gino awake
Oh, My Dear Love one of Mine! Good morning~! I am surprised you're awake before me! You slept well? You hungry?
[A smile appeared on Gino’s face as he noticed his big brother was finally awake. He nodded his head at the questions as he heard his stomach growling.]
Oh! You're starving indeed....I apologize, Gino!
sits up and extends arms to Gino, offering to pick him up,
Come on, I'll cook you a yummy meal!
[Gino let his big brother pick him up, wondering what he’d cook for him.]
[Ernesto held his younger cat brother and walked out of the small private bedroom, walking to where he usually cooks in the small employee kitchen (aka the big stands of food)]
We have eggs still- Do you want some eggs?
[Gino thought for a moment before nodding his head.]
Alrighty!
gently sets Gino down and takes off his gloves to start cooking
[Gino sat down and waited for his big brother to get done cooking.]
[Ernesto was of course, good with cooking (A shocker for many but how can he and his brother survive in them streets if none knew how to cook? As the eldest between two, he knew it was a duty). He made sure no shell got into the eggs in the pan, making sure to add a good measure of salt and pepper, and ofc, made sure the yolk didn't pop]
[Gino remained sitting as he continued to wait, his stomach growling again.]
Awh, I know, My Dear Love one of mine....
I am quickly cooking for you!
cooking the eggs, making sure to add the rightful ingredients to cook fast but steadily
[Gino nodded his head at his big brother’s words. He knew he was starving but he also knew he’d be soon stuffing his face.]
[Soon, Ernesto puts the warm eggs into a plate and gives them to Gino]
You want milk, orange juice-?
[Gino took the plate and looked at the eggs before looking at Ernesto. He then nodded his head again at his big brother’s question. He’d like some orange juice.]
Ah! Orange juice it is!
grabs an orange juice box from the stand and a fork, giving both to Gino

[Gino took the orange juice box and set it down before grabbing the fork. He was about to start eating before pausing and shaking his head.]
