What I've played.... Picross HD (iOS). First up this is a blatant rip off of the DS game which shows in its presentation, but it's free and I'm skint so needs must. It plays like a visual sudoku and there is a definite satisfaction when you realise a logical truth about the board. This app comes with >100 free boards and more available for purchase. Despite the slightly fiddly controls, would work bette with a stylus (point to you Nintendo), this is a nice little puzzle to kill 5 minutes.

What I've played.....Marvel puzzle quest and Dr. Who legacy (ios). Grouped these two together because they are essentially clones. I'm not sure if I'm missing something with these games but I don't see much strategy which makes them sooooo boring. Switch the puzzle pieces, beat a bad guy, continue a lame story, fall asleep. Shame because I love the subject material, seems like video game tie ins are nearly always safe and boring. Dislike.
