I’m listening to it too right now while I’m making gifsets. It such a great soundtrack I love all the songs but Unsaid Emily just hits different, I think it might be my favorite song.

Same! Like a lot of them are my faves for different reasons bc they’re different in ways, but they’re upbeat and/or uplifting. And then with Unsaid Emily, as you said, just hits differently and is like on a whole other level. I even listened to on repeat last night to help me sleep. (I’m actually listening to it rn). I’m with you, I think it might be favorite too. It’s just so powerful and I love it so much.

But man do I just love this entire soundtrack so freaking much.

It truly is a powerful song, it caught me off guard cause I was expecting all the songs to be like you said upbeat and uplifting and then I heard Unsaid Emily and it made me so emotional and it still does every time I listen to it. I found that entire scene so beautiful and heartbreaking (especially when Luke’s parents saw the sirens and knew something happened.)

It really caught me off guard too for those same reasons. And yeeess, I still get emotional listening to it as well. It honestly effected me in ways that made me think of personal things from my past that I didn’t really think would correlate to Luke’s and his parents’ story line. It’s just so powerful that way. And just the raw emotion of the song with that heartbreaking scene (especially that sirens part as you mentioned)…just WOW. I have goosebumps (or ghostbumps according to reggie) just talking about it. It really was just so heartbreakingly beautiful and so incredibly well down. It just hits you in the very soul, you know?

I feel it deep in my soul. The song made think of past mistakes and actions that I’m not proud of, and things I regret not saying. I think a lot people can connect to it and bring people together. It’s that powerful.

Exactly. And that’s, to me at least, what makes music so great, especially the emotionally charged songs. They can connect to our souls in all the different ways that unique to us. And that’s what Unsaid Emily does does beautifully. Honestly, I can’t even the emotional…impact(?) is has just in general. We’re able to connect to it in personally unique ways, but also still get emotionally destroyed by the story itself. It’s just… *chef’s kiss*.
