A friend that motivates you is a blessing. https://ift.tt/2LCnJ5G
Lift up your friends, pray for your friends, encourage your friends to grow!!
There’s a difference when you pray
Dear God, I wanna take a minute, not to ask for anything from you. But simply to say thank you, for all I have.
Jesus wasn’t lukewarm about you when He hung on the cross.
Jesus: You are the salt of the earth-
Me: *is salty*
Jesus: No not like that
Reminding myself He pursues me even when I don’t pursue Him. Reminding myself He continues to tug on my heart even if I don’t respond. Reminding myself He loves deeper than I could ever know.
pray for ur parents. pray for their emotional and mental well-being. they like to act strong for our sake.
Some days I just want to hold someone’s hand and talk about the weight on my heart… then I remember that although God is not physically holding me, He is closer to me than anyone else ever could be, and that makes me feel less lonely.
Life is hard, but at least I know Jesus is with me through it all.
Me: I messed up.. again.
God: Come to Me.
Me: I'm worthless.
God: Come to Me.
Me: God couldn't possibly love me after what I've done.
God: Come to Me.
“I think one of the biggest mistakes Christians make while reading the Bible is forgetting that none of the characters, except Jesus, knew how things were going to end. So we read about Noah and immediately picture the rainbow. We focus on the fact that Jonah got puked out of the whale while forgetting that he didn’t know what was coming. We think of the disciples and the miracles they saw, like the feeding of thousands of people with just a little bread and fish, and forget they didn’t know that story would turn out awesome. It did though, didn’t it?”
