10 resolution ideas for Music Junkies for 2015
1. Find and fall in love with at least one new artist's music (brownie points for an artist who sings in a different language from yours)
2. Stop free styling and try to remember the actual lyric (only to forget it later)
3. Listen to the songs you have waaaay too many memories and emotions attached to. (happy, or sad, or both. Catharsis is good for the soul)
4. Listen to an artist you may have previously judged. (because saying, xyz artist sucks. Just isn't enough. Find proof. Use it as a legit reason)
5. Listen to a new genre of music and try to appreciate it's existence.
6. Find a new favorite song, every month. (or at least try to, without making a face.)
7. Try to get through the songs you hate the most. Do one song every month. (this is going to be a tough one, but it helps you test your endurance.. and sometimes, you'll come to find that the song isn't all that bad. Come on, DO IT.)
8. Make more friends based on your common love of music
9. Attend at least one music festival in a year
10. Share more music, educate the witless. (music is educational, even if Pink Floyd said sang "We don't need no education..")
On that note, we sign off.
Until next time, Keep it Musical!
