BIOGRAPHY.
Marcello Serra never had big dreams. He was content with living his everyday life as long as he had his friends, his mother’s cooking, and a football. The wildest dream he has ever had was when he was around six and dreamt of becoming a professional footballer. That dream did not stick for too long but it was a fantasy that he kept playing in his mind until his late teens. He liked to daydream. It was a very cheap way to pass the time in the suburbs of Naples.
He had never been the type to enjoy school. He liked recess and PE but everything other class was his personal hell. He had a knack for writing though — he could have become the next great Italian poet! He ended up joining the police force. He was passionate. He was energetic. He was malleable. Perfect traits for a Napolini police officer.
He started when he was just nineteen, he was picked for the Italian secret service a bit after he turned twenty-eight. He had a clean record. He was well-liked. He had a good heart. That was what people said of him. Marcello Serra got along with everyone because he wasn’t a stranger to the struggles of the poor or the misfortunate.
He turned twenty-nine and he got his first promotion within the secret service. He wasn’t a complete rookie anymore. The next promotion came a year later. He had a small team under him! How exciting! The first month after the promotion was a joyful flurry — but it came to an abrupt stop when the news of his sister’s passing reached him. It made him consider dropping everything and moving back to Naples. Family was more important than anything else, and while it could be considered an honor to be serving his own country... it wasn’t enough.
He did return to Naples but only for a while. He took three months off work and when he returned, something had changed. Something had clicked in him: he was more demanding, less flexible, less likely to let a joke or a mistake pass... His back had straightened and he seemed more determined to be something big.
He was surprised when he was offered the job as the Portuguese crown princess’s bodyguard. It shouldn’t have come as a complete surprise since he had expressed an interest in working for the Savoys. The fact that he actually got what he wanted was just as surprising as the Portuguese trusting an Italian with the security of their valued princess.
He’s a bit awkward, trying to learn as he goes, trying to befriend Barbie’s current bodyguards... trying to figure out how relaxed he can be when he’s off duty... This is all very new to him but he couldn’t be more excited!

he’s pretty new so he doesn’t know anyone unless you’re a peasant ( like he might know the estes but no one else ) but anyways he’s friendly and each and every one of his starters will be at a bar or something so !!!!!
