Save the date! Midwest Fest 8 October 22-24, 2015 Hunters Ale House - Mt Pleasant, MI A month later this year than the past four years. This is due both in part to working around the CMU football schedule, but also moving it away from a few events that conflicted in the past, allowing MWFest to get the most attention possible to make it the best event we possibly can. More bands will likely be available to play this later date, we will have more time to promote, and we won't lost in the back to school hub bub that always seems to overshadow our promotion efforts when the students return in late August. I truly feel this will be a tremendous move for the festival. It will also allow us a bit more time to work with organizations within the CMU community to help spread the word about this great celebration of music to those around the entire campus as well as beyond into the mid Michigan community at large as we have in years past. There's some pretty awesome plans in store for MWFest 8, and we will be sharing plenty of announcements in the next few months!

We have been lax in updating our actual website post MWFest VII, and for that we are sorry. Last night we had The Appleseed Collective and Stovepipe Stover at Hunter's Ale House. It was a great evening full of dancing! Be ready to dance again come Friday, November 21 as we celebrate MWFest founder Corey Densmore's 28th birthday with performances by MWFEst VII favorites Tunde Olaniran and Kavazabava, as well as MWFest VI alum James Gardin & The Full Effect. It's like Xmas morning! MWFest gets underway tonight at Hunter's Ale House with Cheap Girls, Moses, Heaters, The Curls, and Shiloh kicking things off. Tickets will be available at the door and are just $5! Weekend passes are just $10. See you there!

The full MWFest VII lineup!

The MWFest VII lineup, except for one headliner which will be announced on Friday morning. Subsequently on Friday via our Twitter and Instagram pages, we will provide a link to purchase tickets before the "general public" on sale date of next Monday. Tickets as you see are ONLY $5 per night, or $10 for a 3 DAY PASS!! We anticipate they will sell quite quickly this year at these prices, as they're the lowest we've ever had for Midwest Fest in an effort to make the festival even more accessible to anyone who'd like to attend. Help Us Decide the Lineup!

Head on over to http://mwfest.com/vote to choose your two favorite bands out of the 15 Michigan acts in this year's Fan Vote Round. We've already selected 9 bands ourselves, then we had the out of state portion of the fan vote round, and lastly we have these 15 bands we just simply couldn't decide on one way or the other to be in the fan vote round. That's where you come in! The lineup itself is set to announce June 16th.
