I am Mx. Chara Dreamer (formerly "Dreemurr"), head of the Pnictogen Collective, a plurality or "system" hosted by the human being Kara Dreamer. soulbonded members: Chara (they/them), Frisk (they/them), Asriel (she/her), Toriel (she/her). For a time I was the Ambassador for our people, the Realm of the Monsters in Exile, but Frisk has resumed that duty.

so that initial plans kinda crapped out, but we haven’t ruled out reviving Tumblr. one big difficulty is that we simply don’t really like the Tumblr “user experience”, but we’ve wondered whether this isn’t simply an issue of, well, training oneself to get used to Tumblr’s quirks. the “infinite timeline” is an infuriating thing in some ways; we tend to scroll for a few seconds and then just give up, because every post takes up so much vertical space, and there tends to be a lot of repeated material. but we can just barely see getting used to it.

all the same we’d really prefer some other sort of UX for making use of Tumblr. a third-party client would be nice...if such a thing exists, or is even capable of existing.

Tumblr gives you no control over the formatting of the Twitter crossposts that it sends out. this is annoying for a number of reasons, but in particular because it would be nice if the tweets mentioned which Tumblr blog the new post was made on. after all, a Tumblr account can support more than one.

I don’t see an alternative to supplying a by-line by hand.

I have a statuette of Artoria, I have a statuette of her son Mordred, and soon I’ll be getting an Astolfo--a cute Nendoroid statue rather than the detailed figures I have of the others. but it was only right. Astolfo’s almost as important to me as the other two...and I sort of promised them I’d try to write them a story at some point.

I have zero doubt that OP completely forgot about all the people who are going through all the legal channels and waiting patiently to legally obtain citizenship or even asylum status, the people who are actual real refugees who have real claims for asylum, who are getting screwed over by the drug cartels trafficking children and a bunch of well-funded criminals rushing the border and demanding money so they can leave…. But you know they just want a better life.

Asylum only applies to the FIRST friendly country you cross into, not the second or third.

When Mexico offered these people jobs, housing, benefits, and citizenship and they said

They forfeited any right to be called “asylum seekers”, and became economic migrants.

Children can’t be housed with adults for OBVIOUS reasons, but they’re also “separated” from these adults because the adults refuse to plead guilty to breaking the law and thus must go to TRIAL. Since they’re CRIMINALS, the children are removed from their custody. Easy way to not have your children removed from your custody is to not break the fucking law.

The countries we restricted travel from? Were picked from a “high risk” list compiled under the Obama admin., and weren’t picked because they’re Muslim majority - they were picked specifically for the amount of terrorist activity in them. Nice of you to point out they’re all Muslim majority though, wonder why that is.

The people OP cites? Migrated here legally. The original colonists, by definition, couldn’t have been “asylum seekers” since there was no government when they arrived, no UN, no law.

Shortly after we “soulbonded”, Frisk resigned the position of Ambassador, because they felt the weight of guilt. For a time, they did not wish to speak at all. I took up the position of Ambassador to the Realm of the Monsters in Exile, and did my best as an advocate. My best...wasn’t very good, but, well, I have come back in the form of a tired ex-chemist trying to live some kind of life in Seattle, WA after numerous traumas. There is only so much such a person can do.

finally, a reasonably detailed portrait of myself!

since…well, returning from Hell, basically (how else can I describe the experience of having been Flowey?) I have looked different from my youthful self. this was something that I had a degree of control over, mind you; I felt I was offered a chance to shape my appearance into something that fit me better. but one thing that seemed to be fixed, more or less, was that my main fur color changed from white to black.

I have seen color-swapped “alts” of other Undertale characters before, and of course my Deltarune counterpart, Ralsei, is bimodal, having both melanistic and leucistic forms. (this bimodalism seems to be a definite feature of all the Deltarune “Darkners”, and it fascinates me.) but I have never seen a dark-furred Asriel before, I don’t think.

a cute scene, and after watching "Fate/Zero" for the third time, there's something cathartic in seeing Irisviel casually belt Kiritsugu across the face for saying something stupid. buuut then I see that this artist misgenders both Mordred and Astolfo elsewhere so... *sighs*
