Today is a quiet day. Too quiet, almost, to Boltâs liking. No one in a wide radius seems to need his help, which to most people would be comforting⌠but to someone like him, itâs more unnerving than anything. Such a calm area is almost unheard of. Is there just something heâs missing?
He might just be looking for a need of help in the wrong place. Maybe he should move on elsewhere. Itâs about time he sought out a thunderstorm to replenish his energy with, anyway.
The Zeraora lazily walks down the forest path, careful to avoid the roads leading to the nearby town but not particularly trying to hide aside from that. Most humans have nothing to fear from him, but he knows from experience that being spotted can lead to trouble.
Which is exactly why he stops in his tracks when, despite what heâd hoped, he spots someone up ahead. She seems to be carrying bags of some kind â groceries, maybe? Bolt debates for a moment on what to do⌠he could dash off and hide up in a tree, but those bags look a bit precarious. Itâs not the most heroic of tasks, but if he can help anyone at all, why leave her hanging?
Needless to say, heâs a bit desperate for work right now.
âRaora,â he growls, but itâs a friendly enough sound. As evidenced by his tone, it clearly means something along the lines of: âDo you need help carrying that?â
Kyla was working on coming back home after a long trip, though with her car out of commission, she had to hoof it, which isn't something she was wanting to do. Still, nothing here was going to spoil if it was out in the sun for too long, so she had the opportunity to take this path, something she seldom did.Â
This, of course, causes some surprise when she sees the yellow furred creature on the path. She's not entirely sure if she didn't just stray into another world (after all, she hadn't even seen a Pokemon like this before, much less so close).
She finds it rather odd that it seems as friendly as it is, considering they had just seen each other. She finds it even more strange that they're offering help with her bags (at least, sheâs hoping that they are. Sheâd feel really bad if she assumed that and pushed work on them without their consent).
"Are you sure you wanna carry some of this? I'm still a ways away from home, after all, it's gonna be a while."
