Alright so I got some splain'n to do.
I have had the login info for this page for the past year. I have known I have had the login information for the past year. I have not used the login information in the past year.
And I'm gonna be honest that's just been to a complete and utter lack of wanting to write anything on Tumblr at all.
And then I started an IRLPokemon blog. And for some reason did not use this blog to be the main blog for that. Probably because I realized if I did, I would never actually use it.
But now, I have a new computer, and one that has only one browser installed. And that browser only has this Tumblr account linked to it.
I may be turning 22 this year, but I don't think it's too late to get back into this.
However... There's some changes.
More than a few of my sideblogs, I never use. I have never used them, and I have no real desire to use them. To be frank they were just there because I Started writing the characters in an RP server on Discord, and I never actually considered writing them on Tumblr outside of "new blog go brrr."
Because of this, I will be doing some pruning.
This is the state of all my current blogs.
grim-grinner, mini-manakete, fer-ma-fer-glory, and loving-nightmare are defunct as of today. I still write them, but they're all connected to my Heroes Summoner already, so having their own blogs makes little sense. Henry, Nowi, Donnel, and Freyja will be moved over to gun-summoner, where they belong.
monado-iii is, if I'm being honest, an extreme roadblock to actually getting back into writing on Tumblr. I don't write Shulk near as much as I used to. I grew to love the character, yes, but it is always in the back of my head that the only reason I wrote him to begin with is that there was no one in the Smash RP community writing him and I was just filling a gap. This blog will be archived. If I feel the muse for him again off of discord, I will bring him back, but he is not a priority as of right now.
My "Laytonverse" blogs look-at-my-badge, rhythm-king, and no-puzzle-unsolved will be consolidated just under one blog. Given that look-at-my-badge is the only one that actually has any writing on it, that will be the blog that Layton and Raphael are moving to. The blog's name will be changed to reflect this, but I don't know what I will change it to.
duwang--gang, txtris-king, redmont-ranger, pxinted-hero, and dash-and-slash are defunct as of today. There are reasons for all of these.
I don't write Okuyasu, Koichi, Rohan, or Jotaro. The only Jojo characters I actually write are Josuke (rarely) and Jonathan (even more rarely). So the name already makes no sense. It's also gone unused since 2020, so it's not like it's gonna be missed.
I write Tee very rarely, and if I'm being honest there is like, no Puyo Puyo RP Scene I can find.
Will is a very passive character, so him having his own RP blog makes no sense. Also, there is literally no Ranger's Apprentice RP scene out there, and trying to get people to interact with a book character in general, much less a YA protag, is a Sisyphean task.
I don't really write Link on Discord anymore, much less Tumblr. He's like, a nonary muse at best now.
I have not seriously used Specter Knight as a muse since before this became a hub blog instead of an RP blog, which I wasn't even out of high school. No one is going to miss him.
OC Crew time!
My OC blogs are children-of-valm, wyverntribe, redeemed-professor, gun-summoner, yiga-banana, and mxdern-mage, and I have... things to say here.
children-of-valm will stay. It is a blog with characters near and dear to my heart, as all of these characters (sans the canon ones obviously) were created by both myself and my now-girlfriend. So I will not be removing this blog.
WyvernTribe is in the same boat, though without the "Girlfriend helped make her" part. Erix is a character I have strong passion in writing. The one thing keeping her from being moved to another blog to cut down on blog space is because her story doesn't really work with either Kiran or the Awakening muses.
Byleth... I don't know how I will handle him. His blog will stay for now, if only because he's an actually original take on the character, at least compared to the game.
Kiran will stay. Obviously. I need him to host the other FE blogs, he couldn't go even if he wanted to. Man's one of my primary muses.
Sasha, my Yiga OC, is on thin ice. The person I wrote my Yiga Shenanigans with has since deactivated, and she's got a very tight-knit Yiga Clan to work with made with myself and some friends. So I will have her blog archived, on the chance that an opportunity presents itself to actually let her be used again.
Kyla... Kyla... I do not know about Kyla. She was once one of my main muses, back when I was a kid and didn't have the confidence to write characters that had canon personalities. She's been with me my entire RPing journey, even before I had a Tumblr account, much less this Tumblr account. So there is a large part of me that does not want to let her go. But at the same time... I know that she's evolved far past how she is here. She's evolved so many times over the years, it's hard to go back to how she used to be. She's gone from an Undertale OC, to a general OC, to now being a party member in a story for a game I hopefully will get to make one day, with an entire character arc from there. I think for Kyla... The best option is for her to be retired. As a character, she just does not match who she once was, and if she's going to experience this volatile of a change between her interpretations I can't justify keeping her on an RP blog, especially not one to herself. It's not fair to me, and it's not fair to writing partners.
Now. Those of you who know how many damn blogs I have know that this isn't every blog I have. I still have yet to mention Steve, the Mega Man Killers, Shantae, or Kaladin. Well, I will now mention Steve, The Mega Man Killers, Shantae, and Kaladin.
Steve, over at @rocks-the-block, will stay. I will not back out of my promise just because I need to do some trimming. Steve's a riot to write, and he's my sole Tumblr-exclusive muse. Not to mention due to his mostly lighthearted nature, he's extremely easy to write asks as.
Shantae, over at @halfgeniefullhero, is also staying. She's one of my personal favorite characters to write, but she's a bit more high energy than some of the others.
The Mega Man Killers Enker, Ballade, and Punk over at @mega-man-hunters will be staying, but will remain low activity. To be honest I have no idea what the Mega Man RP community is like anymore due to my extended hiatus, so I need to stay back a bit, and actually watch and see before throwing them in again.
Kaladin, over at @stormblessedknight, is not only staying, he will be getting friends. Turns out I like writing a lot more Cosmere characters than just our eternally depressed bridgeboy. Who knew reading the rest of the books would make me want to write more characters from the books? I will reveal those characters at a later date, but just know that among them, there is at least one Mistborn character, and at least one Elantris character. Unlike Will, I do not care that there is next to no Stormlight RP scene. I will make one if I have to. They're also open to Multiverse shenanigans!

Now. This leaves me with a total of 8 RP blogs. Which is a normal number to have. Feels a bit small but I also was making an RP blog for literally every character I could.
However, I will not only have 8 blogs. I will be adding one more.
I've been... really into Persona lately. Like, making infographics for a potential Chuggaaconroy-style Persona 5 Royal LP into it.
I will not disclose who the blog will be for, or if it will only be for one character or not. I will say though, that having an announcement of a new blog when I just had to remove a ton of the others sounds a bit delusional... maybe I just need to... Face Myself.
