The scorbus relationship is so fucking cute and important to me.

Like, can we stop thinking that romantic relationships are limited to sex? Scorbus is, along with Drastoria, one of the cutest romances in the Harry Potter universe. Like, they might have done it once or twice. But please focus on the cute romance part.

Albus has always been there for Scorpius. Like, always, through almost every moment of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. He literally wasn't mad at Scorpius after everything he said in that fight in the library. Albus can't even show how he feels, but with Scorpius it seems... Different.

Scorpius seems to be kind to everyone, but I see that he is even sweeter with Albus. Even though Albus can be rude sometimes. And Scorpius likes some girls like Rose and Polly, but I honestly can't see Scorpius with anyone else. I mean, how can you not ship Scorbus? They are the cutest thing in the world.

This reminded me I have a draft about how Scorbus's intimate life is something I practically never think about because it adds so little to their dynamic that I just don't care about it. Its mostly about how I think they aren't a sexually charged couple at all and it's very low on their prioritys when it comes to eachother.

Like to me they really don't care about eachothers compatibility in any way besides spiritually. They love eachothers presence! They don't feel some sort of awakening during their first time nor do they think it brings them closer together as a couple. It's just another thing they did, it brings them the same level of happiness as sitting in the same room and landing their eyes on eachother would.

The jeddy relationship in TBOTS is so special and important to me because it's not really a soul mate kind of love. It has a kind of energy that feels inevitable, but at the same time, it's something that might not have happened if these very specific things did not happen in both of their individual lives at the time that they did. It's also just so key that they didn't start to fall for each other at first sight, not like that, at least. They didn't start to feel romantic love until every last flaw was laid bare. They both saw the worst of each other, and only after that did they realize they were willing to fight whatever battles they came across in order to have something with each other. At their weakest moment they decided they could still muster that tiny bit of strength they had left for the other, and that's why I love them so fucking much. Cuz they WANT to be together. Not because they were made for each other, but because they don't want anyone or anything else.
