Skylar couldn’t help but grin on the inside as she watched Dugan go after the team. ”Damn, you beat me to the punch…err I guess to the kick.” She kept her eyes trained on the group as they left. ”I don’t get why people can act like that towards faunus. There are clearly worse things out there than a cute girl with bunny ears.”

"Guess the whole kick thing came from a super hero I use to watch on television when I was a kid, but yeah..." despite being the emotional guy, Dugan was one of those kids who use to get hurt copying stuff off television. He'd notice the girl's face afterwards and said, "I didn't even look at her face or appearance. I just can't stand such things." he'd inform her.

Oddly I find the One Piece OST The Very Very Very Strongest suiting for Dugan when he snaps out of his usual appearance and gets serious. I just don't know why, but it just seems very fitting.

The Fighter & The Princess

Nyoko was spending a relaxing day off. With the sun shining, she thought it would be best to stay outside. The princess let out a sigh of relief as she walked, enjoying the warmth of the sun above her. She lost that warmth for just a moment as a shadow cast over Nyoko.

"Wha?.." Nyoko looked up, seeing the training dummy headed straight for her. She quickly raised her fan.

"Protect m-" A soldier holding a shield began to appear in front of Nyoko, but before Nyoko could finish the command, and before the soldier could finish materializing, a different suit of armor jumped in and caught the dummy. The armor disappeared to reveal a crying boy.

"W-wha.. Don’t cry" Nyoko had no idea how to deal with this.

✖ The male looked at her and noticed she wasn't angry. He'd look and said, "T-Thank you!" he'd smile standing tall. The male held his cutlass before sheathing it. He'd sigh and said, "I'm still sorry about that Miss..." he'd look at the female as he was still sorry, however to most it was rather odd to see what looked like a futuristic knight to turn out to be such an emotional guy.

✖ He'd smile at her and said, "I should be careful when using Foyn... oh and I'm Dugan. I owe you a name at least for all this..." he'd chuckle nervously as he stood there. The huntsman in training was rather nice, but emotional nonetheless.

Skylar followed his line of sight, and glared at team CRDL. She barred her teeth, and her relaxed state of being quickly turned to anger. ”That is the biggest group of jerks you will ever meet. As for why they’re like that, I’m pretty sure they find pleasure in it.” It was times like those that Skylar seriously doubted her ‘never hurt another hunter’ rule.

Once she finished, Dugan rose to his feet and he'd jump up as he'd leap across and kick Cardin in the face sending him flying. The toher three turned and got kicked in the face as the male said, "Get lost." they'd look and see Dugan glaring at them. They blinked and they took off as he walked back and took a seat.

"Sorry, I just can't stand such things. My mother rose me to treat everyone equally and not to treat anyone differently. That and I can't stand such things. Taking pleasure in someone's misery isn't right." he'd explain, but the goof ball became a bit dark when he got serious. Suppose when he focused, he wasn't such a Momma's boy.

”I — I didn’t mean to, I thought I had calculated the dust right!”

"I wouldn’t worry about it, though. You’ll fit in just fine…in fact you already are." Skylar smiled. The two had been sitting in the cafeteria for quite some time now.

"Really?" he was a bit surprised by her response, but it did make him feel good. He wondered when he could get to show off his fighting skills. As he sat there, he'd notice some guys picking on a bunny faunus. He'd look and asked, "What's with those jerks?" he'd watch them for a bit.

”… that explosion was not my fault.” It was the dust’s fault. She overestimated how much dust she needed.
