Your eyes once were blinded Now through them do I see Your hands once were idle Now through them do I speak.
Miraak, first Dragonborn
Remember who you are Daenerys. It was true dragons followed no rules, obeyed no one & they care not about the concerns of the people, if she claimed to be a dragon, it would be natural for her dragons to respect her. But she was little, not as strong as she thought.
âââ & that someone if you, I guessâ Of course. Only someone who affirmed to be the dragonborn could teach her what was necessary to be who she really was. A dragon queen with no dragons is not a queen. Months & months fighting against the Masters, remaining strong & firm because her people needed her to be soâŠbut she had forgotten who she was. The dragonâs daughter. Khaleesi. Mother of dragons. âVery well, Miraakâ Daenerys nodded âI shall learn from your wisdom. I hope youâll not disappoint me after all â
âWisdom,â he repeated with a laugh. âI had time to acquire wisdom, yes. Fivethousand years ago, I was a mortal man. Had I been wise back then, I would not sit here. Anyways... I suppose I might disclose to you what goals I pursue: find out whether my dragons are still alive and then... recover my powers. To came here, I tore the tissue of the world asunder, to free myself of my prison and my shackles, and to do it again... this is the power of Gods, to hold the threads of reality in your hands and weave them anew at whim. Or to rip them apart to step through the veils.â Of course, he did not expect her to understand this. âThe point is... I have no interest in your throne, or your wars, or your claims, but until I found a source of power great enough to return to my full strength, I will help you. I am curious to see whether you will live up to your ambitions- I only can help you to discover what you could be.. Now, back to your dragons- I want to see them.âÂ
አYellow hues stared at the piles of corpses before them as her father spoke, considering just how selfish her father had been to rise to the top; but of course she knew that already, the proportions of it were just more massive than she could have thought. Damaris wouldnât condemn him however, since he only did what he had to get where he wanted.
âI see⊠Are you different now then you were then?â She asked, glancing up at the man whose thoughts created her. She figured that if he saw himself as a somewhat better man now from his action and such that she might be able to soothe him since all this was in the past and couldnât corrected so he had an opportunity to not make the same mistake with those he knew now.
Miraak stood there silently, staring in the faces of those he failed, those he left behind, those he destroyed to move forward- or those he broke without even second-guessing himself for a single minute. âMaybe.â The truth was, he probably still held the same capacity for cruelty and terrible tyranny as he once did. How much did Apocrypha dull him down? His head slowly fell back to look up at the sky, dark clouds in a misty greenish tint, so familiar to him. All it lacked now was the occasional mass of dark tentacles whenever Hermaeus Mora chose to manifest. Sometimes he did not manifest at all and lingered.. invisibly. âHumans can change.. . but they donât do so easily, and rarely decide to.âÂ
-pretends I didnât forget about this blog-
Me: *takes deep breath*

mhysx:
His words made no sense for Daenerys. She held no wish to slay dragons, slay what was left of her family. Why would she? The blood of the dragons lords of the Old Valyria ran through her veins, dragons & Targaryens were one, not enemies. Dragons would not attack & kill other dragons.
âââ Do you mean I am WEAK?â She asked. Daenerys had fought many times against her fears & most of the time against her feelings. Queens should not show what they felt, no emotions on her gaze, but it was true the situation on Meereen was affecting her in so many ways. What happened to the dragon queen who swore to slay her enemies?
âIt does not matter how strong you are in comparison to the men and women out there in this city- only one question matters: how strong are you compared to your dragons?â The dragonborn leaned forward, one elbow resting on the table. âA dragon acknowledges no lineage, no inheritance, no claim, no told stories about whatever you might or might not have done. They will judge you by whether you flinch in front of them or not.â Miraak smiled and set down the cup of wine. âI think I have more to show you than just how to show you how to control your dragons... learn to think like a dragon, and the rule will come to you naturally, if it is meant to be. I can teach you all this. What you need is someone by your side who has the same vicious mind as your drakes.â   This young woman had a long way to go, but he was willing to show her the way, even if only to âwatch her backâ.Â
mhysx:
She was once again fascinated by his words. Those dragons reminded her of the dragons that appeared in the tales her brother Viserys used to tell her when she was little, Meraxes, BalerionâŠThe great dragons that became part of House Targaryenâs legend, but those dragons & their lords were now dead & she was alone with three children impossible to keep under her control. Daenerys was the blood of the dragon & she must learn how to tame them.
âââ How?â Daenerys asked with a slight frown âHow can you tame a dragon? I am sure itâs not like training a dog, it must require specific abilities to do so. Dragons do not obey & their first instinct is to attackâ
âDragons can never be tamed. In their language, I am dovahkiin. Dovah-Kiin, born a dragon, which means I am one of their kind. And dov-ah-kiin.â He spoke each syllable distinctly, for the different partition to be audible even to those not proficient in dovahzul. âBorn hunter of dragons. This is why they follow me: because they know I am stronger than them. They know that the fire burning inside my chest is just as searing as theirs.â Of course, all of this might not even apply to her, and her odd dragons who were already odd enough because they hatched, instead of simply coming into being as it was custom. âIf you cannot be the greatest dragonslayer of your time, you can be wiser. The better leader, the one who stands before her foes without fear, without doubt.â
a-fate-held-in-flame:
â They like to do that donât they? Play with mortal lives till they are bored and discard them like tissue paper. If I may ask, what was so important that you made a deal with Hermaeus Mora?â She asked, looking at him as she pushed her hair aside. Her warm fur cloak and nordic carved armor rattled as she walked slowly. Observing him, still cautious, she had ran into too many traps to be trusting. To trust was to be a fool.Â
âPoor life choices? I said this much, and leave it at that, Dragonborn.â That way, he migt keep the dignity of myserious reasons that might appear more noble than just a mere lust for power, greatness and... guidance. A lost sheep who came to the wolf looking for a shephard. âWhy are you here, Dragonborn? If you found my book, you must have been in my temple then, or whatever time has left of it. I imagine it wonât be much.â
incissam:
Daenerys raised her eyebrows at his explanation of a dragonborn and her mind went back to her dreams. The dragon dreams to be exact where she could fly and breath fire. Perhaps she could be what he was describing and the fact that she didnât really know what it was could be the reason he wasnât sensing that kind of power from her. She wasnât sure either way and his description was very interesting to her. âAnd you thought that I may be one of these dragonborn, your grace?â The queen knew too well that those who were the strongest would survive the longest and brute strength would win out over politics in the end.
The silver lady was a bit bothered by how casual Miraak seemed to come off, but she wasnât going to let that throw her off. She couldnât seem weak because if she did there was a chance he would consume her just as a dragon would consume a man. âYou flatter me with your words, but if I were to be honest with you I would much rather learn more about dragons.â She watched him carefully as she brought her cup of wine to her lips and sipped. âThe fact that yourâs can speak is very interesting to me.â
Could they co-exist? She would like to think so, to have an ally even with a dragon or dragons much older than her own would be beneficial to her plans. Still Miraak was something that she didnât understand, he was too casual with her, too familiar, like he knew that he could easily squash her without a thought. That bothered her. Daenerys fingered the rim of her cup as her eyes fixed on his face trying to be nonchalant. âI believe that we can co-exist peacefully. My intentions are not set upon conquering Essos, this.â She motioned in general about Meereen. âIs more of a trial and a time to gather my strength and forces before moving on towards my true goal.â There was a pause before her lips quirked at the corner in a ghost of a smirk. âWesteros, is where I plan to make my home. My Fatherâs throne is rightfully mine and I intend to take it back with fire and blood.â
"Yes, I did think that- if real dragons follow you, then no other explanation could be valid. A dragon would not follow anyone lesser than one of their own. Men barely tolerate a ruler who does not understand them, and the dov do so even less." Wasn't this the true way it should be? Dragons cannot rule men, they do not understand them. A Dovahkiin, however... knew the souls of both, and might rule both men and dov.
Learn more about dragons.. it did not surprise him, that she wished to speak more about dragons, this world was alien in its lack of magic and dragons roaming the sky and the heat, the heat! "They all do talk, if they feel the wish to, which does not mean they always have something to say worth hearing." Now, she was the one who.. surprised him. "You mean yours do not talk? They do not share their thoughts? Then I would love to see them with my own eyes.." And see whether you might be a mother of wyverns, after all.
Daenerys' claims and goals only had him snorting and he did not even bother concealing the sound as him choking on the wine instead. "Rightfully yours? Back at your people's odd customs. The right to rule is never inborn. It is earned, either by persuasion or by violence. Every man, or woman, who claims to have a birthright, an innate entitlement to power, is nothing but just another pretender until the moment the crown is placed on their head. Maybe you will succeed, maybe you will take this throne. Then, and only then, you can call it rightfully yours: power shifts, structures and networks change, and always the same is true: the reign is up to the strongest. Time will show your strength."
sxrdida:
አThis was something the girl didnât quite understand, even though she should. Damaris was born from the mind of a man who did terrible things in the name of power, but her mind couldnât wrap around wasting so much life for something that didnât really matter in the end.
Yellow hues glanced from the calloused hand that placed itself on hers and to the worn face of the man beside her, considering him for a moment before returning her gaze to the bodies around them. â⊠Were they at your expense?â
âMore or less,â he admitted and felt reluctant to confess what he did. â... People I hurt. People who have never mattered to me as much as I did to them.â There it was, the ugly truth that made him cringe and twist inside, and the second he spoke it aloud, it felt like it was real now. No room for denial, no room for lies, no more false peace. âI pushed them away when I needed them most, drained them of all they had, took and took.... you do not always need to raise a hand to someone to hurt them. Sometimes a bad friend is all it takes to scar the soul. No need for blades, arrows, daggers....â

Corrupting the Stones ||mxraak||
ayalea:
The Black Book was tucked into her pack as she made her way through Miraakâs little corner of Apocrypha that he was so eager to escape. The foul liquid the surrounded the walk way bubbled and sputtered, but thankfully, none of the tentacles that were keen on attacking anyone that wandered too close to the edge made an effort to whip her ankles. Beating wings sounded in the distance, and Ayalea caught a glimpse of the silver-blue dragon that always flew by when she entered Moraâs realm, but her presence had become such a common occurrence that the dragon no longer bothered truly investigating her. A simple glimpse satisfied his curiosity.Â
She passed by the walls of books that were spread all throughout Apocrypha until she happened upon the temple Miraak was forced to call home; a few other dragons flew around itâs apex and she figured thatâs where sheâd find him. After winding through the tower, she finally made it to the top, and sure enough, Miraak was there awaiting her return.â
âThe stones have been dealt with, and already, people are starting to flock to them,â she announced as she approached him. âMora didnât interfere, which surprised me, but he might just be watching and waiting to see what happens,â she added with a shrug. After all, no one could guess a Daedric Princeâs intentions; for all she knew, he could be simply waiting for the right moment to strike them down, or maybe he was curious as to whether Miraak would succeed in escaping. As much as she wanted to believe that it was possible, she didnât think Miraak would be able to leave if Mora didnât allow it.
This place was all he had, prison and realm at the same time, a borrowed throne, gracefully given to him by both enemy and ally. A life turned wrong, so terribly wrong, so many choices and so many experiences taken from him... Now, however, he would take it all back. He could feel the dragonborn presence and a rush of excitement went through his weary bones.
"I know, I can feel it," he confirmed as soon as she reported of her duty having been done. The power of the island... united here, where he could plunge his hands into so much raw power that he might as well be as strong as a God. Mora must know of this, and waited for the final confrontation, for the clash of powers. This time, Miraak intended to win, or else he would be lost for all eternity.
The priest turned to glance at the young woman. "Leave, for I will tear this place asunder. I will rip it apart, and tear all veils of reality into my freedom. The black books offer no exit for me- only raw violence and a magic to be worth a God. Leave, Ayalea, you do not want to be here when everything falls apart."
Knowledge is a weapon. I intend to be formidably armed.
Terry Goodkind,Â
Temple of the Winds
A God is infallible, and the grandest entity that exists. Hermaeus Mora, and the deadric princes, can be tricked, and thus, they are fallible, and therefore no real Gods. Alduin is  Akatosh made flesh, and thus a God himself, but when I have slain him, his divinity ended by proving his falibility, because something that is fallible, cannot be greater than something that is not, and something that is thought and imagined, cannot be greater than that which is real- thus, if I am greater than Alduin, I am a God greater than him, but I am fallible, and thus no God- and therefore, there can be no Gods. They are all fallible. They are all flawed... there is no entity of perfection, because only that which is real and infallible is divine.
