Tell us some headcanon about victorian a/b/o universe <3

HECK YEA!- Noble Beta females were not permitted to marry before their Omega sisters,even if the sister in hand was younger. However if the Omega was male, the Betathen gets the first turn, even if she herself is younger.- It was scandalous if an Omega married something otherthan an Alpha back in those days. There were very few cases in which noblemenmarrying outside the Beta x Beta/Omega x Alpha arrangement didn’t cause somesort of negative repercussion. - Much of the Beta etiquette regarding female Omegas still remained from moreancient times. Meaning hairstyle and clothing had more rules than ever. And asalways male Omegas had even more to follow.

- Alphas in the 19th centurywere not to talk to an Omega who was unaccompanied, did not give them visualcues (also pertaining from the massive array of etiquette rules) or were shownto be not for courting (such as nuns and mated ones).- Talking about courting, it was 10 times more paining than in modern times. Tocourt an Omega without BOTH their parents’ approval, was unthinkable. To marryan Alpha beneath your noble title? Simply outrageous. To count an Omega withoutmoney in the bank? Laughable! Alphas were to be rich, good looking, kind, wellmannered, tall and strong. As for Omegas, they should be fair, skinny, but notso much they’d look ill, delicate, passive and submissive above all. Are you noneof these things? Then you were considered to not even be worth their time.- Obviously this is better said than done, and the things that are written onpaper are not always translated well to reality. The 19th century was known forbeing “the century of sin”. So many bastard children, so many bounds broken anduncanny unions. To be fair, it sure was entertaining. - Omegas fancied the corset very much, and it was mandatory, even for the lowclasses that an Omega wore one. The idea was to enhance their alreadyexagerated “birthing” features. This was also true for Omega males. The modelsthey used were slightly different in design though, since there was anabscence of breast and the social obligation to not “outshine” Omega females. 

- Having your scent glands(marked or unmarked) out and about for everyone to see was a big no-no.Thus even in summer Omegas had something covering their necks and writs. - People think that Omegas were not permitted to do anything at that time asidefrom laying around looking pretty in big manors, but that’s not entirely true.Some colleges did accept noble Omegas; there were even colleges only for them. Usually they graduated as doctors/physicians because at the time it wasconsidered more suited that they pursued something that would allow them to“take care of others”.- Funnily enough, female Omegas rarely pursued college. Male Omegas wereusually the ones to be sent there. The reasoning is that it was very hard toarrange a mating with a male Omega as it was, even if they were of a noble lineage. So manyfamilies chose to invest in a formal education for their Omega sons so toguarantee them a better life or a higher chance to be chosen as a mate. Thosewho had no interest in doing so would then send their sons to serve as nuns inthe congregation of their choice. 

- It’s important to know thatthis is all regarding to noble people. Common Omegas, both male and females,composed a huge chunk of the work force (independent of their age). Due to allthe poverty and industrial revolution, Omegas were just as present in factories and manual labor as Betas and Alphas. They were still required to cuttheir hair short in male cases though. - Male Omegas could work as servants in noble houses too, as long as theycovered their hairs and any semblance of “fertility” they might indicatethrough their bodies. Female servants were obliged to do the same, but these rules were specially harsher for the males. I think this is all I have for now. Do you have any headcanons for a couple of female Alpha and male Omega?

Once upon a time I answered this question but I was too lazy to go back through my old feed and find it. ;P Also my HCs have kinda changed so here you go…

1~ Female alphas don’t get pregnant. It’s up to the alpha to impregnate the omega. 2~ Female alphas are more possessive than the males3~ a Female alpha and male omega tend to be closer in height than their counterpart couples (the Female is taller)4~ Female fits are shorter than male ones while male heats are longer than female ones5~ females tend to feel more comfortable giving their mates more freedom6~ Female alphas tend to not wear makeup but when they do want to their mate is more than happy to have a beauty session 7~ Female alpha generally are more comfortable with other alpha friends. (If you’ll recall I posted a hc were I said that alpha prefer beta friendships over alpha ones) 8~ male omegas are more possessive over their mates than females are (that applies to all mateships) 9~ courting is sometimes harder for alpha females because they are not built quiet as stings as males so they want to show their value in other ways10~ I still stand by my belief that female alpha are better gift givers than the males. Some Unpopular(?) Alpha Headcanons

I noticed I don’t make as much headcanons or Alpha content as I should. So here have both in just one go.

• Alphas don’t usually bother Omegas in gyms and other sport-related stuff. Many would expect Alphas to be douchey and take pleasure in messing with Omegas in this field (Not saying those don’t exist), but most Alphas take body care and building quite seriously. They have huge respect for anyone who works hard to get fit; it’s in their nature to see it as an effort one makes for the protection of the pack, so it’s difficult to see an Alpha get in the way of someone’s training. If anything, they feel compelled to praise Omegas on their hard work and even offer to help if the Omega needs anything.  

• Most Alphas wouldn’t admit to it, but a majority of them have a sweet tooth. It’s an evolutionary trait left behind from times where their bodies urged them to chase the ~sweet omega slick~. As a result, most of the diabetes inducing stuff they sell at Starbucks, children sweets, candy and chocolate of the world are purchased by Alphas.

• Alphas tend to not give flowers as a courtship gift or have flowers at home. Their noses are the most sensitive out of all dynamics, so many Alphas have pollen allergy. God is winter, spring is hell.

• They do love giving scent enhancers though. These aren’t necessarily perfumes, but they do make the Omega’s scent more apparent and sweet (they can modify it if one so pleases, but most are neutral). It might be a gift for the Omega, but the one enjoying the most is totally the Alpha.

• The nose thing also makes Alphas be a little compulsive with cleanliness at times. It’s very difficult to see an Alpha with a disorganized and unclean room. Dust gets on their nerves and their noses so they try to avoid it the most. Same with clothes or any personal items. They are easily the most hygienic of all dynamics. 

• Mentorship, leadership and teaching are things practically engrained in an Alpha’s head. As a result, they compose a huge chunk of college professors, therapists and counsellors. Betas still beat them in gross number, but Alphas beat them in percentage per dynamics number.  

• Alphas can usually conceal their concerns and emotions pretty well most part of the time, but they become big cry-babies after their Omega gets pups, making it very difficult to hide their feelings from them. That is ‘cause Omegas start to produce a distinct smell once they have children, made specially to calm and relax babies and toddlers when they are too agitated or distressed. Betas and Omegas tend to grow out of this and aren’t as affected, but since Alphas are usually very energetic and moody children they are the ones that are exposed to this sort of mechanism the most by their mothers. The alpha will curl into their Omega and just let it all out once they start releasing said scent, regressing a little into “child mode” because it reminds the Alpha of their own mother.

OMEGA

Often seen as the least territorial or possessive without as much of a need to control others, male and female omegas are differentiated by their possession of wombs (specifically for omega males) and increased fertility (omega females). Omegas of either primary sex will also experience seasonal heats.

Heat (or estrus) cycles   are periods of 3-5 days where an Omega will experience sexual excitability and have an increase in fertility. This often comes in tandem with a large release of pheromones to communicate the biological shift to others. Depending on several variables, such as emotional and mental state, safety, and whether or not they have a mate, most Omegas will experience a heat every 3-6 months.

Pregnancy  is commonly associated with omegas of either primary sex, mostly due to the fact that they are the most fertile of any other combination. Most omegas will carry at least 1-2 pups per pregnancy regardless of who impregnated them, but larger numbers are common if the conception was during a heat cycle.

The length of pregnancy is the same for both male and female omegas (8-9 months).

Omega Male Specifics

Omega males are biologically capable of giving birth to young due to the adaption of a womb-like organ, connecting to the lower portion of the rectum. When they are not in heat, the channel to the organ is closed off and unable to access during sex. The structure of the opening is very similar to the female cervix.

Omega males will only lactate during and just after pregnancy.

Omega Female Specifics

Omega females are extremely fertile during heat cycles, but are usually unable to get pregnant outside of them. Menstrual cycles are uncommon if present at all in omega females, as their body has stocked almost all of their biological resources in the heat cycles versus menstrual cycles.

Omega females will lactate most of their lives if their body is given extended stimuli to their breasts, but will stop lactating without this stimuli.

Omega Jobs

So disclaimer, a person can strive to be whatever they want to be, this is just a “common omega jobs” thing.

~Jobs aren’t really hard to come by for omegas.

~ Many Omegas, after they’ve had pups, will choose to work from home or choose to be on call at home 

~ Omegas are very steady, so many are encouraged to become surgeons at young ages

~ Omegas are also very organized (You have to be when most Alphas aren’t capable of it. lol) So many jobs pertaining to that are encouraged

~ Omegas become good teachers (The whole working from home, online, thing comes into play)

~ Omegas make wonderful store/restaurant owners and managers because they are so well organized and many have a knack for cooking  

~ Because Omegas are natural protectors of their pups and usually natural teachers they make great self defense instructors

~ Also Omegas tend to be more flexible of all the dynamics and make the best yoga instructors ~ Because they have a nuturing and comforting personality it is easier for Omegas to become therapists ~ Many Omegas choose to be homemakers after they have pups. Even though some say it’s old fashioned (or their only purpose). It entails everything previously stated that an omega is good at.

List Of Alternate Universes

Alternate Universe (also known as alternate reality), is commonly abbreviated as AU and it is a descriptor used to characterize fanworks which change one or more elements of the source work’s canon. The term most often refers to fanfiction, but fanart can also depicted the characters in AUs.

Unlike regular fanfiction, which generally remains within the boundaries of the canon set out by the author, alternate universe fiction writers like to explore the possibilities of pivotal changes made to characters’ history, motivations, or environment.

Alien Invasion AU – In which the story deals with an alien invasion when canonically it does not ever happened.

All Human AU – In which characters who are canonically non-human are now humans, with corresponding changes to their backstories.

Alpha/Beta/Omega AU – Often referred to as A/B/O or even Omegaverse. It is a growing trope of AUs originated in kinkmemes in which characters can be Alphas (dominant males or females), Betas (ordinary working class), or Omegas (submissive males or females).

Ancient Egypt AU – It is also known as Pharaoh AU and in this AU the canon story is replace with the setting of Ancient Egypt. The characters are mostly still themselves, but they are either a part of the royal family, servants to the royal family, normal citizens or all of above.

Android AU – In which the main character or most of the cast are turn into androids that serve different purposes, such as bodyguard, solider, caregiver and so on. In other cases it becomes something similar to Absolute Boyfriend (also known as Zettai Kareshi) where they are mail order androids that can be order online or from a cataloged. If not, they may have originally been human but turn into an android for whatever reason.

Angel/Demon AU – When angels and demons exist (in the case of canons that don’t have them) or a character is recast as one of them. However, these kind of AUs don’t necessarily have to have both beings in the story as some tend to focus on only one of them.

Arranged Marriage AU – Similar to the Marriage Law AU, only the difference is that not all the characters are required to be married. It is mostly focused on only one pairing and it is usually a pairing that wouldn’t normally get together such as crack ships or doomed ships. In some stories it is a plausible idea, but in others it is not.

Atlantis AU – Is not to be confused with Undersea AU. In this AU the characters from a fandom are placed into the setting of Atlantis: The Lost Empire.

Avatar AU – Is also known as Bending AU (not to be confused with Na'vi AU) is an AU that puts the characters into the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender and/or The Legend of Korra. This AU gained popularity due to the concept of the characters being able to manipulate one of the four elements.

Baby AU – When the entire cast or most of them are reverted into children or babies. Usually one of the characters is still an adult that takes care of them until they figure out how to change them back into adults again.

Bakery AU – When most of the cast of a story works at a bakery while the rest are customers.

BDSM AU – Is when the entire cast is either a dominant or a submissive and BDSM relationships are considered the norm. Be advised that while a healthy BDSM relationship is consensual and not dangerous, if handled incorrectly it can result in abusive behavior which is offensive and considered bad BDSM etiquette.

Bookstore AU – When most of the casts works at a bookstore. If not, usually a few of the characters work there, while the rest of them are customers. Another version is the Library AU, in which one or two of the characters are librarians, while the rest of the cast spend their time looking for particular books to read or for information.

Business AU – In which the story is set in a building and the characters are employees. Sometimes it is focus on one character who works as a secretary and another character as their boss. 

Circus AU – In which the story is set in a circus and the characters are circus performers or customers.

Coffee Shop AU – Also known as Barista AU. In most cases, one half of the main pairing is the barista and the other is or becomes their favorite customer; in some stories the whole cast works at a coffee shop.

Crime AU – In which the characters of a story are various type of criminals, such as burglars, bank robbers, gangsters, drug dealers, smugglers, hitman/fixer and so on. This AU focuses on their criminal lives. It is similar to the Mafia AU.

Dance AU – Is an AU that has one or two characters that have a passion or interest for dancing. They go out to clubs or join a dance studio to learn. Or they own a dance studio and prefer to teach it. Sometimes the entire cast are students of a dance school. 

Darkside AU – Is when the canon villain of the story succeeded in their ultimate mission or goals and the AU story focuses on the outcome of it. For example: In Harry Potter, what would happen if Voldemort had won? Or what if Tom Riddle had been successful in sucking out all the life energy from Ginny and had come back alive? 

Desert island AU – Or an uninhabited island AU, in which a character or most of the characters of a story are trapped on a deserted island, usually from being shipwrecked or their plane crashing.

Dystopian AU – Is set in a dystopian society that is not the original setting of the canon.

Fairy Tale AU – In which canon characters are put into situations and/or settings from Disney’s fairy tales, such as Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Little Red Riding Hood, etc. Other times it’s uses the Grimm’s fairy tales versions, which is a much more darker.

Fantasy AU – In which the story takes place in a fantasy universe where magic or magical abilities is normal, technology is nonexistent and supernatural creatures exist.

Flower Shop AU – Similar to the Coffee Shop AU and the Bakery AU, but instead the entire cast works in a flower shop. Or one of the characters works there and the rest are customers.

Genderswap AU – In which one or more characters in the story switch binary sexes, such as depicting a male character as a cis woman.

Ghost AU – Is also known as Paranormal AU. In which one of the characters is a ghost and they haunt the location of where they were killed or whoever disturbed their resting place. But them being a ghost doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re dead. Sometimes a character may appear as a ghost, but is actually alive and in a coma. Other times they are truly dead, but can be bought back to life with magic. Or they may be able to possess another character’s body permanently, instead of temporarily.

Ghostbusters AU – In this AU the characters from another fandom are portrayed as either ghosts or the people that “bust” them. 

Hanahaki Disease AU – In which everything is still canon, except an fictional disease known as Hanahaki exists within it. Those that catch the disease coughs up flower petals when they suffer from one-sided love. Their lungs get filled with the flowers and their respiratory system grows roots. They choke on their own blood and petals, and die. It can be cured through surgical removal, but when the infection is removed, the victim’s romantic feelings for their love also disappear. Sometimes this also removes the victim’s ability to ever love again. Another way to be cured of it is for the object of the victim’s love returns their affections, thus making the love no longer unrequited.

Harem AU – Or Reverse Harem AU is when a story that doesn’t contain any polygamous or love triangle relationships turns into one. Usually the main character has something happen to them that attracts the other characters to them, be it from a love potion, experimental perfume, spell gone wrong, and so on.

Haunted House AU – Or Haunted Castle AU, in which a character moves into a new home or castle and doesn’t know that it is haunted (usually by a ghost, sometimes a demon or some other type of creature) or they are dared by their friends to spend the night in it. 

High School/College AU – In which the characters are shown in high school or in college together. They are often done with characters who canonically meet later in life, altering or entirely overwriting their original backstories. Similar to this AU is the Boarding School AU and the Elementary School AU.

Hogwarts AU – In which the characters from other stories are placed into the setting of Harry Potter. These can be coexistent with Harry Potter canon, or ignore it entirely. But they are often portrayed as students of Hogwarts instead of teachers that work there.

Hospital AU – In which the characters of a story are doctors, nurses and patients in a hospital (sometimes it is set in an asylum). 

Host Club AU – Or Hostess Club AU, is an AU based off Ouran High School Host Club. It focuses more on the idea of the male characters of a fandom forming or joining a Host Club to earn money by catering and entertaining women. These clubs are distinguished from strip clubs in that there is no dancing, prostitution, or nudity. 

Hooker AU – Where one or more of the characters is a sex worker. The more common is the Pretty Woman-type fantasy of a hooker with a heart of gold, rescued from life on the streets by a client. Sex work of all kinds is portrayed: brothels, escorts, street prostitution, “call-girls” as well as strippers and go-go boys. Most of the time one character of the pairing is the hooker and the other the client, though some stories have both characters as prostitutes (sometimes along with other canon characters, in either a brothel-type setting or living on the streets).

Hunger Games AU – In which characters from other stories are competitors in the Hunger Games.

Ice Cream Shop AU – When the casts works at an ice cream shop. Possibly one of the characters owns it, while the rest are employees or customers.

Law Enforcement/Military AU – In which the cast are policeman, federal agents, soldiers, marines or whatnot and the story focuses on their lives.

Mafia AU – In which the characters are in a mafia.

Magic AU – Incorporate magic in stories where there is no magic present in canon.

Marriage Law AU – It spawn from the Marriage Law Challenge in the Harry Potter fandom, in which the premise is to forced marriage between a Muggle-born to a Pure-blood (or Half-Blood) due to a new decree passed by the Ministry of Magic to help preserve the magical population. 

Master/Slave AU – In which the cast are place in an universe where slavery is an accepted economic and cultural institution. Some stories treat this as a significant moral problem to be resisted and overthrown if possible; others treat slavery as an unchangeable institution.

Merpeople AU – Or also known as Undersea AU, in which a story is set in the ocean (or a large lake) and the characters are turned into mermaids and merman. Sometimes it’s focus on only one character that becomes a mermaid/merman and another character that is human. When it’s the latter the AU usually turns into a Little Mermaid type of story. The characters are sometimes Cecaelia (a race of sea beings with an upper body of a human, and the lower torso of a squid or octopus). Occasionally, they might be some other type of sea/water creature that has a human form, such as a Kelpie, Selkie, Water Dragon, etc. 

Modern AU – In which characters from a historical (or pseudo-historical) canon universe are placed into a modern setting.

Monster AU – In which the characters are changed into non-human creatures, such as Incubus/Succubus, Naga, Oni, Centaur, Banshee, Siren, Dullahan, Kitsune, Imp, Fairy, and other kinds of monsters.

Na’vi AU – In this AU the characters are placed in the world of James Cameron’s film, Avatar and are portrayed as Naʼvis; a blue alien race that reside on Pandora.

No Human AU – Also known as Animal AU, is the opposite of All Human AU, in which characters that are canonically human are now non-humans. In this AU the characters are typically turned into cats, dogs or sometimes even into birds.

Noir Detective AU – In which the characters are put in a typical ‘40s or '50s film noir environment. Sometimes this AU is done as a homage towards the style, in which the characters are still their canon selves, but the plot or aesthetics are given a noir slant.

Opposite AU – In which canon personalities and backstories are swapped out with an opposite versions of themselves. Such as a quiet shy character may become loud and outgoing.

Pacific Rim AU – In which the characters are put into the world of Pacific Rim (most often as Jaeger pilots). This AU gained popularity due to the concept of Drift Compatibility that made for excellent shipping interactions.

Pen Pal AU – Is when two characters (who have met in canon) have not met each other in this AU. Sometimes they live in the area and other times they don’t live on the same continent. Usually it is their school that sets them up as pen pals. If not, it is because one of the characters writes a letter to the wrong person/wrong address or they accidentally texts the wrong person.

Pirate AU – When the whole cast are pirates and it is focus on shipboard life, usually it is set in early nineteenth-century Europe. Sometimes it’s pirates in outer space.

Prison AU – In which characters meet for the first time in an prison environment where they have to depend on each other.

Private Detective AU – When one of the characters becomes a professional detective while the rest of the cast are their clients or the detective’s contacts in the police department (sometimes they work in other fields, in which the Detective character calls them in for favors to help solve difficult cases).

Reincarnation AU – In which stories with historical canon setting have the characters become reincarnated into a modern setting and in doing so they are quite similar to their canon selves. Other times the characters or just one of them is reincarnated into another world, which they may or may not retrain their memories from their previous life.

Reverse AU – Also known as Role Reversal AU. Is when the roles (and sometimes backstories) of the characters are swapped, such as the hero is the villain and the villain is now the hero.

Rockstar AU – Is also known as Musician AU. In which the main casts is a popular music band or one of them is a solo artists with many groupies which may consist the rest of the characters of a fandom. Or they work within the same industry.

Romeo and Juliet AU – In this AU the main characters within the William Shakespeare story Romeo and Juliet are replace with characters from another fandom.

Roommate AU – In which the characters in a fandom are all living together in an apartment or an house. Usually this kind of story is focused on two characters that become roommates.

Royalty AU – Where one or more characters (who canonically aren’t) are members of a royal family. This usually goes hand in hand with a historical period, featuring a Medieval AU or Regency AU, although some works are set in Modern times or even the Future.

Single Parent AU – In which a character has a child or becomes a parent in someway and raises them on their own. 

Soulmates AU – Is when two (or more) characters are fated to be together, sometimes through multiple lives and/or into the afterlife. Sometimes but not always, the pairing might have a characteristic that helps them to find each other, such as identical or complementary birthmarks, tattoos, scars, or a string-of-fate that’s tied to their other half which becomes thicker and shorter the closer they get to them. Some stories only need a character to hear (or just see) their soulmate to know who they are.

Space AU – Where a fandom that is canonically set on Earth becomes set in outer space.

Spy AU – Also known as Secret Agent AU or Espionage AU. The whole cast is turned into spies, sometimes they work for the same organization, government or they operate independently. Other times the AU is focused on only one or two characters that are the spies.

Superpowers AU – In which the characters have superpowers and are either heroes and/or villains. 

Steampunk AU – In which a story is turned into a futuristic/sci-fi version of a 19th Century, usually Victorian or Edwardian containing clocks, gears, springs, steam power, analog computers, airships, etc. 

Tarzan AU – In this AU it’s based on the novel or film Tarzan. The canon characters are replaced with others from another fandom to explore the story with them in the roles instead.

Vampire/Werewolf AU – In which vampires and werewolves exist (in the case of canons that don’t have them) or a character is recast as a vampire or werewolf. However, these kind of AUs don’t necessarily have to contain both species as some tend to focus on only one kind.

Victorian AU – In which characters from a modern or future-set story are relocate to a stereotypical Victorian romanticism era.

Western AU – In which the characters are transplanted into the “Old West”; or sometimes, especially in science fiction stories a Space Western equivalent, which may involve a western-type plot without horses and cattle ranches.

Wonderland AU – In which the story and the characters are turned into their own version of Alice in Wonderland.

Yandere AU – Is when a character in a fandom is turned into a Yandere, which is a type of character who is initially very loving and gentle to another character, but their devotion to them becomes destructive in nature, often through manipulation, violence and/or brutality.

Zombie Apocalypse AU – Also know as Zombie AU. In which stories that don’t contain an zombie apocalypse have it happen to them.

Note: This isn’t a complete list of AUs, but I will keep updating it whenever I come across something new (or someone lets me know what I’m missing). Also, keep in mind that sometimes an AU story is combine with others elements. For example, instead of the very common AU story about the characters attending a regular high school in modern times, it can be a magical school or a superhero school (similar to the film Sky High or the X-Men comics). It might even take place in a futuristic world or historical time. Sometimes AUs stories may focus on an OC (Original Character), Self-insert or Reader-insert and not just canon characters of a fandom.

What are your headcannons for omegas?

Hmm.. That a bit vague but I do keep a few general headcanons for Omegas.

Omegas tend to be reasonably modest, males more so than females

Omega males wear ‘open skirts’ with pants or short they have a skirt in the back (google Regina Mills Evil Queen Outfits)

Omegas are very protective of their nests, and if another person stumbles onto it they will dismantle it and rebuild somewhere else 

Omegas also will get very distressed if some else takes apart their nest. I.e. if their Alpha takes their shirts or pillow back. (Schools even stress in heat classes to Alphas and Betas not to do this)

Omegas are the most possessive and jealous. Though it is more subtle like an arm touch or glowering over their mates shoulder.

Omegas are also very protective over their children. If they feel their children are being threatened they will attack (and beat) anyone

Louis Tomlinson had been betrothed to Simon Cowell, the Duke of York, at the young age of fourteen, despite their age difference of more than thirty years. The marriage was arranged solely on the financial offer Simon made to the Tomlinson family, a high end merchant family from the northern provinces of England, and the beauty and gender of the eldest son, who happened to be an omega. Louis, while male, became the Duchess of York after their marriage, as it was common a practice in court to refer to an omega of any secondary gender by female titles. Louis was a lovely little thing, in defense of the offensive societal habit. He was blessed with all the necessary 'lady of court' qualities, and had spent several years in finishing school. He was a good entertainer to guests, kept up with the proper politics and court gossip, and managed to to look his best at all times- the young Duchess particularly enjoyed fashion, music and the theatre. He even sat in on Council meetings with his husband. It was often said that Louis was loved by all of Britain, even if the Duchess sometimes had a mouth a little too big for his own good. All of Britain, save for his husband. The Duke did not seem to care for his young Duchess at all. He didn't care to put face on for frequent visitors, anymore. Simon was rumoured to have had plenty of affairs and a slew of bastard children around the countryside. The distaste and avoidant nature of the Duke lasted for nearly the first year of their marriage. The lack of disinterest in the Duchess quickly grew into something else, something akin to hatred. The hatred did not stem from nothing. It had a very obvious cause. The lack of an heir. The young duchess had not been able to carry a royal heir after three years of marriage. It wasn't because of lack of action in the bedroom- servants frequently gossiped about having heard the Duchess scream in fear and pain often enough. It gave merit to the ladies in waiting gossiping about the bruises and various marks on the young boys body. It wasn't like Louis hadn't caught before. No, he been pregnant more than once. And every time- four times in three years- he had lost the baby. And those were only the obvious miscarriages. The true number was seven. The Duke showed his growing hatred for his omega by embarrassing the Duchess in front of guests. Louis was ridiculed at dinners, at balls, at tea. Anywhere Simon could, he was making Louis look bad. Twice guests had even seen the Duke strike the face of his lover, leaving Louis with a shameful and embarrassing bruise on his cheek. Even at a lavish banquet, in honor of the King, Duke Cowell would not leave Louis alone. Before the banquet began, Louis had been showing the Duchess of Edinburgh his outfit, made especially for the event. The King called attention and Louis, who had not heard, continued to talk in hushed voices to his long term friend. Immediately, Simon struck the omega across the face, leaving Zayn, the Duchess of Edinburgh, to gasp in horror as he watched his friend stumble. Zayn turned quickly to glare at the Duke of York for just a brief moment before turning just as quickly to his friend. "Louis?" He asked worriedly, frowning slightly as he noted the tears in his friend's eyes, the way he was clutching his cheek with a ringed hand. Zayn reached to settle a hand on his friend's back, but Louis waved his concerns away and turned to look up at the king who was not standing too far away from them.

It wasn’t that the boy didn’t love being a prince, and he loved his father as well, he just- well, Louis needed some space to himself sometimes. Above water… The young prince zoomed past a school of brightly coloured fish, smiling as he got out of sight of the palace. Louis started to slow down as he neared his favorite coral reef- unknown to most humans, so he got to be a little less careful. He pushed his way above the water, head bobbing around, face stretched with a bright smile. Harry styles was not a mermaid, nor was he a sailor as tale would lead you think. He wasn’t even a surfer. No, he was just an ocean loving, marine life studying uni student. The twenty year old had heard about this coral reef over off the coast of a near by town and had convinced his flatmate to let him borrow the car. Harry had just got his goggles on and was swimming under water when he saw a flash of blue swim by. Siren Louis

Louis could hear the sound of heavy heeled boots along context with the creaking wood of the ship, even above the crews excited whispering. He watched as a man shoved his way through the crowd of restless pirates, shushing them as he passed. It was obvious this was the captain, for when he his sea damp hair from his face, he held it back with a feathered, wide brim hat. The siren squirmed as much as he could, his body mostly contained in a water filled ale barrel that had been rolled on to the deck. The captain’s eyes were full of curiosity and his thick, red lips pulled into a smirk, dripping with greed. It was all Louis could do, watching as the captain brought his large, worn hands forward to brush against the exposed scales of his tail. He wanted to pull away from the man’s touch, but he was completely immobile in the creaking barrel. The first distinguishable words he had heard since being pulled on the ship from the fishing net were from the man of the hour himself: “Welcome aboard the Sea Bird.” He sneered. “They call me Black Jack, but you’ll be calling me sir. Now, chain ‘em up.” Not a second of hesitation went by before Louis was carried off, taking two men to haul the barrel down into the bowels of the ship, carelessly tossing the exquisite creature onto the floor of the cell. The barrel was tipped over and the siren went spilling along with the too warm sea water. They chained him immediately. Louis was in there for a solid hour before anyone stepped foot in the brig again- the captain. His delicate’ wrists were red from the heavy metal shackles chaining him against the wall and his eyes puffy and swollen from the strange water falling from his face. While the hour had passed, Louis has completely dried out, his skin now just damp from sweat. His tail had lost its bright shine and glimmer. Now it looked dull and tacky. But the captain had caught something the sea creature had missed. Louis watched as the man reached out and pulled something sticking out of his a tail, a bolt of pain shooting through his body at the offensive act. The sickening slick sound was quickly covered by louis’ pained cry at his scales being pulled off. The captain pulled back in partial disgust and shock, though it was clear he was still curious. He didn’t stop at the single patch of dried and shriveled looking scales, pulling off another, larger section, revealing what looked like fresh, baby pink skin underneath. Louis was scared and confused, never having been in a situation like this. Being left out of water had caused his tail to start peeling off. If the man kept going, he would reveal two human legs. Now he wondered if he would ever get his beautiful tail back. The thought of not being able to go home tore him up inside and he found himself staring at the man angrily. (Continue as ¼? They didn’t give each other time to just be with each other, simply figure out if they wanted to be with each other for the rest of their lives. They got married as soon as they were out of college and here they are now, nearing thirty and stuck in a shit marriage. It started with their sex. The ‘experts’ say that your sex life isn’t what it used to be, then that’s the start of it all, and their sex life definitely isn’t what it used to be. Neither of them actually enjoy sex anymore, it’s just a thing they feel like they have to do. Sometimes they go weeks without even having sex. It’s sad. Neither of them want a divorce before they hit thirty, so to try and make things better, Harry started to research hybrids. Hybrids are a new thing that’s caught the world’s interest, there’s many different types. They’re very expensive 'pets’. They’re meant to be treated with the upmost respect, they aren’t slaves or maids, they’re very independent pets. When a hybrid is bought, they automatically trust and respect their owner, and if a hybrid is being abused, they can’t stop it. Often hybrids, both male and female, get knocked up by their owners and then kicked out on the streets. That’s why, over the years, buying hybrids has become like an adoption service. Like when a couple wants to adopt, a social worker comes and checks their home, interviews them, looks for signs of trouble. If the person/couple gets the all clear, then they can choose the hybrid they want and buy it. Harry was clearly excited about this, thinking this hybrid would spice up their sex life a little, and maybe a pet would bring them closer together. He understands that hybrids are independent, but that doesn’t mean he can’t baby them and spoil them. After speaking about it, they started the process. A woman interviewed them, inspected their home, even interviewed their families, and after two months, they got the all clear. They went to a hybrid agency and started looking at all of the different hybrids. Nick didn’t seem too keen, but Harry was cooing over each one. But then he saw Louis, and his heart practically stopped. A seventeen year old, absolutely beautiful fawn hybrid- the cutest, but at the same time, sexiest little thing Harry had ever laid his eyes on. With his curvy little body, his stunning facial features- with beautiful little white freckles barely noticeable on his cheeks-and his gorgeous velveteen ears and fluffy, white bottomed tail, Harry wanted him. So they bought him and, honestly, after a week, Louis loved Harry. Louis hadn’t had sex with the couple yet, because Harry thought they needed to let him warm up a little bit before they jump him like animals in rut. Harry spoiled his fawn every single day, something Nick didn’t like very well. If anything, they were spending more and more time apart. He had fallen. He had been cast down from Heaven, his wings torn from his back, his halo broken. He woke up on something soft and warm, his body laying too heavily against the offending surface for him to be on his cloud. There was an awful screeching noise that pounded against his head, pulling him the rest of the way out of unconsciousness. He could feel the air pressing down on him, weighing his body as he pushed himself up into a sitting position. Even the light, too bright, felt like it weighed on his shoulders, blinding him while his eyes struggled to adjust to the sudden change. Once he could make out his surroundings, he turned his head and lifted the black phone off of its base, pressing it to his ear. “Hello?” He croaked delicately. “Good morning, Monsieur. This is your requested wake-up call for six A.M.. Please remember, check-out is at eleven. Enjoy the rest of your stay.” With that, the line went dead and Louis could start deciphering where he was. His body was stiff and sore as he crawled out of the large bed, stumbling to the floor, fully dressed. If his memory was right, he was in a hotel. Which was good. God hadn’t left him completely unprepared to face his punishment. Maybe there was still hope for him? Louis ended up finding a wallet that had several pounds in it and an ID. Louis Tomlinson. There was even an address on the back. He supposed that was the first thing to find. On his way to the door to his hotel room, there was another odd noise, this one coming from a bag he had managed to miss. He pulled out a cell phone, where he had received a text message: [Unknown Number] ‘Hey, this is Niall, your new roommate. Just wanted to let you know that your stuff showed up this morning. Do you know when you’ll be at the flat? I look forward to meeting you!!’ Someone really had taken good care of him. With that thought, Louis texted his roommate back to let him know he was heading that way, using the address on the back of his ID to plug into the maps setting on his new phone before taking the walk across London to his new life. As a human. Oh god, that was going to take some time getting used to. And the walk wasn't enough. Before long, he was knocking on the crisp, white door- ironic- and it was being pulled open. ((Hey!! Fading prompt

((Trigger warning: eating disorders and self harm)) Louis’ hands flew across the fabric, sewing an elaborate stitch into the houndstooth fabric on the table below him. With one final knot, he finished his current work, laying his needle to the side and sighing in success. He picked up the slim fit trousers he had finally finished hemming and moved to fit them on his mannequin. Louis was a sophomore at Manchester university, getting ready for the fall fashion show in a few weeks. After careful scouting, he had finally found a model for his male line he got to present at the show- which was usually strictly upperclassmen- Harry Styles, senior photography major. He fit the silhouette of Louis’ designs so perfectly you would think they were just made for each other.

Harry normally preferred to be behind the camera than in front, taking pictures of the most beautiful people and blissful scenery. When Louis approached him, out of nowhere, he couldn’t help but accept the offer from the very pretty underclassman with those vibrant blue eyes. Harry would gladly spend time with Louis if he could get a few candids of the most beautiful person he had ever seen.

They were meeting, anytime now, for the first official fitting. Louis was working endlessly on other outfits, for other ‘models’, but his main focus was on the garments he would put Harry in. He was extremely excited to show off his best work yet, on someone as handsome has Harry Styles. He was bent over a pair of trousers, the workmanship outstanding, lost in the fabric and music playing. He didn’t even hear anyone enter.

[Please say if reading, lovely?] It’s funny, how two people, so alike in background, can have such completely different lives. One could be living the dream, whilst the other could be dreaming of being normal. This was what it was like for Harry and Louis. Harry Styles, one third of the world's most famous boyband, One Direction, and Louis Tomlinson, a life-long patient at the Royal London Children’s Hospital. When Louis turned eight, he was diagnosed with a rare form of tissue cancer that affected everything from his blood to his lungs. He was admitted for treatment and had been a patient for the last nine years. Royal London became his home. The hospital room, his bedroom. The nurses and doctor became his family, a hospital gown and white pajamas, his daily clothes. A tube beneath his nose and wires attached to him became security. Louis’ family abandoned him at the hospital when his illness got too costly for them to handle, having another seven children in their family that needed to be fed. So, Louis was left alone with no family or friends in the teenage ward. If it weren't for Jay, the lovely nurse who kind of became like Louis’ mum, he would probably be chucked out to die away on the streets. After his parents neglected the eleven year old boy, Jay took Louis under her wing. She visited him every day, brought him Star Wars and Lego toys, and home cooked meals that were much more better than the horrid hospital food. She would sit by Louis as he went through terrible treatment, holding his hand and kissing his forehead. Louis was more than grateful for her, because she had told him that although he might not be like all the other boys out there, able to play football and get gorgeous partners by showing off, that there was somebody out there who was able to love him the way he was. Louis had always been honest with the woman, going as far as to tell her no one would fall in love with him if he was stuck in a hospital room his entire life. Unlike his absolute idol, Harry Styles. Louis was one of thousands of girls and boys who fangirled over the boy band daily. He watched clips, Vines and videos on his laptop, listened out for the latest news on them, and even watched their DVDs on the television in his hospital room. Jay had gone to every London concert of theirs and brought back Louis plenty of photos and a shirt from every show. Of course, Louis wasn’t able to wear them, as the fibers messed with his dainty and thin skin. Louis was completely unaware of the hospital visit One Direction was doing. It was all for a publicity stunt, of course, to promote the news of a new album. Each boy had been assigned six room numbers, but Harry, being the kind hearted lad he was, requested a couple more. Soon enough, he was finished with his six and extra two, having only one left. Louis was sitting on his bed, typing at his laptop with shaky fingers. The teenager huffed at himself, as his fingers were trembling with weakness so much that he had to keep pressing the Delete key and retyping what he wanted to say. ((Hi there! Pirate Harry

“Captain, I think you’ll want to see this one.” It was a phrase Harry was used to hearing at this point. With all the ships they seize, ranging from the British Navy to Asian merchant ships, their spoils were always interesting. The last person Harry was expecting to hear it from was his right hand, Liam. Liam was certain enough to take care of most things on his own, not needing to interrupt harry to oversee cargo transfer. This was Liam’s highest duty. Being a good Captain, though, Harry stood from his map, pushed his chair in, and blindly followed Liam out to the main deck.

Harry Styles was one of the youngest Captains to sail the seven seas in history. He had been on the ocean since he was twelve years old, working in the scullery of a primly run ship, under command of the man who taught the twenty five year old everything he needed to know to be a successful pirate- and how to beat any man at cards. At seventeen, Harry won a small, half sunk ship in a game of black jack on the port of a small city in northern Brazil. He, and his first mate, Liam, had put over a year of blood, sweat, and gold into the old girl to get her going again. A year after her maiden voyage, Harry upgraded, through another game of black jack. It became a hobby, beating drunk men and swindling their ships from under their noses. It was a thing, and earned him his Captains title: Captain Black Jack Styles, the Prince of the seven seas.

By the time Harry had made it to the coast of India, he had traded for the fastest, sleekest ship he had ever laid eyes on, appropriately named ‘The Sea Bird’ after the way she glided across the water. Black Jack was the most feared name in the Western Hemisphere. And Harry wasn’t in a hurry to lose that title.

Their journey had brought them back to the Atlantic Ocean, drifting somewhere between the most southern tip of the English Isles and the northern tip of Africa. It was off the coast of France they had encountered a Naval ship of the English empire. A tricky take over, but Harry managed to get The Sea Bird behind, going nearly twenty nots against the English fourteen. The take over had been harder than most, and the Captain only realized why when Liam had brought him to the nose of the ship, where two… boys were hog tied, back to back, the sun showing the fine threads in their garments.

They were both bathed and fed, so it was time Louis ran out, while he was asleep. They had been on their own for a while now. Too long for Louis to remember, for their clothes to get tattered and the bones to start showing up in louis’ abdomen again, all over his little body, even. They traveled from Doncaster to Carlisle and back down to London. This- running- had almost become second nature now. Louis and his baby brother had only just made it to London off the train. He barely had enough money to pay for a couple nights in this shit hotel- that wasn't going to do. Even though his body was sore, Louis couldn't let his baby do without. Sneaking out of the room, Louis headed to a street corner, Mary Janes on his little feet, nails painted a pale pink, chipped over time. Attitude magazine

(Originally mine. x) Attitude Magazine is the most well-known and famous gay lifestyle magazine. It features interviews from A-List celebrities, loads of articles on many different topics, it tells you about upcoming pride festivals, and most importantly, it features pictures of very handsome men. It is a magazine for gay men essentially, but it is popular among other members of the LGBTQ community and straight women. It has it's own studio in London where photoshoots and interviews are done, and obviously it has offices where everything is put onto paper. Though it can be quite a stressful job at times, it really is a fun place to work. Louis Tomlinson can tell you that. Louis started out at the bottom, as we all do, doing the coffee runs and sitting in on meetings to see what actually goes on. He didn't care though, because he was working for his absolute favorite magazine of all time. When David Beckham appeared on the cover, Louis was sold. He was only eighteen at the time, had just finished school and forced his way into getting a job there. Louis didn't take no for an answer. He was the 'coffee guy' for a while, but he did have fun. He got to know everyone and he made friends. And most importantly of all, he got to 'meet' celebrities. By meet, that means Louis saw them from afar and became starstruck. Things were good for a while, but then things suddenly got better. Soon after he turned twenty, he was promoted to receptionist, because his boss liked how positive and happy he always was despite the task he was doing, he just liked Louis' attitude. Louis was absolutely delighted, because he /knew/ he would suit the job perfectly. He works at the front desk, so he's the one that answers the phone, greets guests (and some of those 'guests' are /celebrities/), replies to emails and some other boring stuff like that, and over time, he has sort of become the assistant for the CEO of the magazine, who has his own office right behind Louis. Instead of walls, it's all glass, so he can watch everything that goes on out in the 'main' part of the offices from his own office. So Louis is a receptionist and an assistant, but he doesn't mind, because one, his boss is /fit/, and two, sometimes he gets paid more than he should because he does more work than he should. Louis is happy, more than happy, he loves his job, he loves his coworkers, he loves knowing the latest gossip before his friends, he just loves everything. And, most important of all, he gets the latest issue of the magazine free every month. What could be better? Today is the beginning of a new week. There's a lot going on today, like there is everyday. Photoshoots, interviews, updating the website, meetings, blah blah blah. Louis has just arrived, nine a.m sharp, and he's at his desk, sipping on his tea while logging into his email account, deciding to check them first.
