It's canon that Satan cannot name animals for the life of him so my headcanon is that his thousand cats were named : Cat, Kitty, Kitty Cat and then it just went on with Cat #2, Cat #3, Cat #4 etc.
He knows them by heart and will kill you if you get their names wrong, unless you're MC, in this case :
