hi!! i just wanted to see if you could offer any thoughts or something. i feel like being queer has been super isolating for me recently — i’m out to my friends and some of my family but i still just feel like i can’t really talk about it with anyone for some reason? i’m just kinda struggling with the whole being a lesbian thing right now idk. hopefully this isn’t too vague but any advice or anything? thank you in advance!! 🥰

I'm so sorry I haven't been real active on here and you might not see this now.

In terms of advice, just know that you're not alone. There are so many communities online that you'll find support in, and just know that its normal to struggle with it at times.

Say "Lesbian."

It's always okay not to know your label, or to forgo labels entirely! But if you know your label and you shy away from it, you are hurting yourself and others in your community. Working on accepting yourself can of course be hard, so take your time. But I urge the lesbians out there not to censor their identities by calling themselves only "sapphic" or "wlw". So long as it is safe, wear your heart proudly! You deserve it.

My oc Camellia Lin (a pan lady with a very important job as a religious leader) lives with chronic pain. Here she is wearing her magical plant-based pain management system, and doing some stretches. It doesn’t feel great, but better than normal is something.

7 day wlw challenge, day 3: a lady with the hairstyle you want.

This was tough, because there isn’t really a hairstyle I’m super hype about. I would love to have my mom’s long, straight, sleek, ebony hair, but I got my dad’s loose, coarser blonde curls instead. *shrug* And that type of hair is much more manageable when it’s short.

So here are some ladies with my mom’s type of hair, and some fun things I could do with mine if I ever get the chutzpah to dye it. (the buzz cut wouldn’t really be my style, but I say a couple ladies rocking it recently, so I decided to include it.
