RIIZE RIIZING LOUD IN KL 🇲🇾 (2025)

seeing riize live in kl for riizing loud was actually insane… like i’m still processing. 🥹✨ it was my first time seeing them and watching sungtaro this big on stage after rooting for them since nct 2020 felt so surreal. i’m so proud of them for finally having their own stage, their own members, their own sound — they’ve grown so much and you can feel it live. i experienced VIP standing for the first time for the concert.

the energy in ideal live arena, 3 damansara mall was off the charts; everyone was on their feet from the very first note. the boys came out with so much charisma — anton’s stage presence?? unreal. sohee and wonbin had the crowd screaming every time they stepped forward, and shotaro’s dancing was crazy sharp in person. “love 119” and “talk saxy” live had everyone vibing, but the highlight for me was “get a guitar” — the fan chants were so loud i got chills. meanwhile eunseok and sungchan hmm no comments as i was stunned and holding myself from sprinting to the stage hehe (joking)

during ments, they even told us how impressed they were with Petronas Twin Towers! shotaro said when they touched down in KL they were super tired, but when they saw KLCC they were totally in awe — especially wonbin, who couldn’t stop talking about how stunning it was. 🥹💙 and omg, they recorded so much content while here?? they were spotted in “I ❤️ KLCC” shirts and even tried satay and seri muka — which apparently became their favorite Malaysian food!! like hello kings of good taste 😭🙌

ment time overall was pure chaos in the sweetest way — sungchan speaking malay phrases (cue the collective meltdown), wonbin teasing the crowd, and the members just looking genuinely happy to be here. by the encore, it turned into a party: confetti, selfies, endless hearts thrown into the audience.

it didn’t just feel like a concert, it felt like the start of something huge — seeing riize rise (pun intended lol) right in front of our eyes. 🫶 kl really showed up for them, and i left with my voice gone and my heart so full. ✨

NCT 127 THE MOMENTUM IN JAKARTA 🇮🇩 (2025)

It was finally time to see NCT again, but this time it was NCT 127! I basically went full fangirl mode and did something a little crazy — I flew all the way to Jakarta for their concert, because they’ve never set foot in Malaysia. ✈️💚 Even though they weren’t performing as a full group (since Taeyong and Jaehyun are serving in the military), the six members who came still made it so worth the trip. i also experienced soundcheck for the first time for this concert.

the momentum in jakarta was INSANE — like the second i stepped into the venue, you could feel the excitement buzzing through the air. the red ocean of lightsticks was absolutely stunning, especially when the intro video started. and then they opened with “gas”??? i swear the arena exploded. everyone was on their feet instantly, screaming their hearts out, and the energy never dipped for a second. the feeling of hearing Kick it for the first time was immaculate !!

jakarta’s crowd was LOUD but also so warm, cheering for every solo moment and never letting the hype die down. one of the sweetest moments was during “no longer” — the entire arena softly sang along and it was just… goosebumps central 🥹. during the ments, they promised to come back, and you know they meant it as they really love jakarta.

they wrapped the night with “promise you,” and honestly it felt like the perfect ending — a mix of hype and softness, leaving all of us on cloud nine, voices gone, hearts full 🫶💚.

THE BOYZ ZENERATION II IN KL 🇲🇾 (2024)

It was the first time in 7 years since debut that the boyz finally set foot in malaysia 🥹 i’ve been a deobi since 2018, and when they dropped the world tour poster and i saw “kuala lumpur” on it, i was shook. like, i genuinely couldn’t believe it, especially after they skipped malaysia for zeneration i. this time, it felt real. it was finally happening. Omg… getting that ticket? CHAOS. i battled the ticketing site all on my own, fighting off foreigners for seats 😭 the stress was unreal, but somehow i managed to secure mine, and honestly it made the night feel even more special.

the boyz in kl were PURE performance energy from start to finish 😭🔥 their stage presence is actually insane—tight choreo, crazy vocals, and nonstop fan engagement the whole time. thrill ride and whisper had the entire arena bouncing like a trampoline, but reveal… omg reveal was a cinematic experience. the lighting, the choreo, the energy—it was all PERFECT.

and then… the BLACKOUT 😭 the venue, megastar arena in sungai wang, suddenly went dark, and for a moment we all thought the concert was over. they were this close to stopping everything, and everyone was panicking, holding their breath, almost in tears because we thought we wouldn’t even get a proper goodbye from the boyz 😭😭 thankfully, the power came back and the show went on. the RELIEF in that moment??? unmatched.

the crowd was SO passionate too. deobis were screaming fan chants with everything they had, and you could literally hear the echoes all around the venue. the boys made such an effort to connect, speaking in simple malay phrases and sending hearts to every section 🥹💛 juyeon and kevin especially melted my heart during ments, talking about how happy they were to finally perform here, and you could feel how genuine they were.

the encore was pure chaos in the best way—confetti everywhere, the members running around, waving and interacting until the very last second 🥹 it was one of those nights where you leave completely exhausted but also buzzing with happiness. my voice was GONE but my heart was so full.

NCT DREAM THE DREAM SHOW 3 IN SINGAPORE 🇸🇬 (2024)

It was finally time to see nct dream again, especially mark lee 🥹 but this time the show was in Singapore since SM decided to skip Malaysia lol. i wasn’t about to let that stop me, so i joined a bus trip someone organized. we literally went straight to the venue for a one-day trip—super tiring, but honestly worth every single second.

Singapore’s tds3 was on a whole different level… bigger, bolder, just insanely polished. the moment it started i was like omg??? the production was next level—the huge screens, the lighting hitting perfectly every time, and the COOL backup dancers during skateboard (like??? i wasn’t ready 😭). when they opened with icantfeelanything i swear my soul just left my body. it was so confident, so sleek, so powerful. compared to tds2, this tour felt so much more mature—like dream really leveled up in front of us. the setlist was tighter, the flow was perfect, and the whole vibe?? cooler, sharper, like they were saying “we’ve grown, and we’re here to prove it.” i was actually losing it the whole time.

This time, though, it was only 6 members instead of 7 since renjun is on hiatus 🥺 it definitely felt a little different without him, but we know he’ll come back stronger, and dream will feel complete again when he’s back. 💚 The crowd was not bad tbh… but let’s be real, Malaysia ate it up way more 😏 hehehe. still, fan chants were on point, especially during poison and hello future. and then broken melodies live?? the vocals hit so much harder with the arrangement, and you could see the members feeling every note. chills.

Ments were pure chaos, in true dream fashion—jisung laughing nonstop, mark hyping the crowd like only he can. the encore was straight joy: haechan clowning with fans, jaemin filming everything on his phone, jeno literally dancing with the staff like it was a party. it didn’t feel like just a concert—it felt like a celebration of how far they’ve come, something we were all a part of. even though the day trip was exhausting, my heart was so full. seeing dream again, seeing mark again… worth every bit of effort 💚

NCT DREAM THE DREAM SHOW 2 IN KL 🇲🇾 (2023)

I’ve loved nct dream since 2016, back when i was just in form 1 and they had only just debuted. seeing them live has always been a dream of mine—especially finally meeting my ult bias, mark lee, in real life. tds2 in kl was beyond special for me because it actually fell on my 20th birthday 🥹💚 it honestly felt like the happiest day i could’ve ever imagined. but at the same time, it was bittersweet for a lot of malaysian nctzens, since so many of us struggled to get tickets. most ended up in the hands of foreigners, which felt so unfair. somehow, against all odds, i got lucky. after all the stress, panic and refreshing pages, i managed to secure my ticket on my own. i still can’t believe it really happened.

The show itself was unforgettable. before the boys even stepped out, the green ocean was already glowing so bright. when glitch mode hit, the entire arena shook. jaemin’s wide smile is still stuck in my head, mark/jeno/jisung just spitting raps like it was nothing, and renjun, haechan, chenle serving those flawless high notes… literal perfection. the setlist flowed so well too—hype songs like beatbox and hot sauce sliding right into heartwarming ballads like candle light.

The fan project during rainbow actually made me emotional 🥺 when the members looked at the banners that said “our dream, our forever,” i swear i saw their eyes glisten. and then the encore… omg pure chaos. polaroids, laughter, endless waves. it felt like they didn’t want to leave and neither did we. i walked away with my heart so full, and yeah i had pcd for days after 😭😭 but honestly, i wouldn’t trade that night for anything.

TREASURE’S HELLO TOUR IN KL 🇲🇾 (2023)

Treasure’s first concert in Malaysia was literally EVERYTHING 😭😭 like… my first ever concert and it had to be them??? Insane behavior from the universe. I’ve been watching them since survival show era, just streaming from my room and now suddenly they’re right in front of me?? help.

When the lights went off the whole place SCREAMED and the blue ocean just lit up… i got chills. then during the first ment they started talking in Korean but also threw in simple Malay phrases and the crowd LOST it 😭😭 like the way everyone screamed at the smallest “terima kasih”??? iconic.

They performed all the hype tracks jikjin,for boy i was jumping like crazy but then darari started and i actually ascended. the whole venue sang together and you could literally SEE them getting emotional, smiling wider every time we got louder. it was so so so special, like a full circle moment.

Their fan service was next level too. waving, pointing, finger hearts, just pure love thrown at every corner of the venue. at one point i swear they made eye contact with me (delulu?) maybe. but let me live hehe. even the vcrs were so gorgeous, giving us a sec to breathe before they came back to destroy us again lol.

They ended with hello and it was so bittersweet bc it felt like both a goodbye and a “we’ll be back.” the crowd was insane, everyone screaming and singing until the very last second. i walked out of there shaking, crying, laughing—like pure euphoria. i’ll forever tie my first concert memory to treasure and honestly?? no regrets. 🫶💎
