Mikey age gap discourse is so insane to me. He met her when she was an adult. He got with her when she was an adult. An adult woman who made her own decisions who people will not shut the fuck about. 2 adults in a consenting relationship and people act like he's a monster because of the age gap. At what age exactly do you think women are allowed to make their own decisions? Or are women incapable of consenting to a relationship with any age gap because what, they're inherently fragile and stupid? Do you think anyone who is a victim of actual CSAM is happy to see you comparing 2 consenting adults in a relationship to what they went through? Do you even care about how she feels? You don't sound like you care about women or even about CSAM survivors, you sound like misogynists who want to find a reason to hate him that isn't just that he was a drug addict. this horse has been dead for years, it's none of your business, and none of us are required to know if he's resolved things with her.

But then Gerard said, “thank god, that giant penis didn’t make it up on stage,” and she just stared at me for a minute before awkwardly laughing. I felt embarrassed, only because I didn’t know what was going on at the time and I didn’t understand what compelled him to say that😭

despite what bob was done, he was a very key piece to the band. he helped make three cheers and tbp, which are (arguably) the band's most famous albums. this isn't to dog on jarrod alexander btw (i think he's just as important), i just think bob's work as a musician shouldn't be overlooked because of his controversies. two things can be true at once; bob was an amazing drummer, but his personal decisions/political opinions were shit.

He was a very talented drummer, it really sucks how everything turned out with him.
