Greg had been having a rough time at work recently and so some of his mates had offered to take him to the pub. While there he had a few too many drinks and sent a message to who he thought was a friend who couldn't make it. [Sent to the wrong number] God, he radiates elegant sexual dominance. I bet even his balls have pinstripes. -GL
Mycroft rolled over in bed, his eyes adjusting to the light from the screen of his phone. Recognizing the number as Greg Lestrades his mind began to buzz. For the only time that man ever messaged him was when something was wrong with his brother. He couldnât help but smile at the message that he had been sent. Clearly it was a mistake, but he was going to play this man for all he was worth.
Anatomically impossible, Inspector. Though I am sure the subject of your message would be flattered to hear it. -MH
**I donât care about anatomically correct. All I want is his anatomy inside me.âGL**
Greg hiccups as he sends the text, finally looking at the contact. âOh hell.â He giggles and sips his pint.
Mycroft could feel his face flush a little as he sat himself up in bed. He never expected a response that quickly, least of all a text with such graphic wording. He knew he should just stop, act like nothing had ever happened, but he was getting far too curious for his own good.Â
People want a lot of things, Gregory. It doesnât always mean that they will get them. It also doesnât mean that they wonât. Life is about risk, and is the risk of looking the fool worth it? -MH
Greg waves goodbye to his mates as the last of them leave. He sits back in his booth, slowly nursing his drink as he reads the text.
**Oh heâs worth any risk. Heâs worth all of them and more. Heâs just so posh and gorgeous I donât think heâd ever go for a mess of a bloke like me. Besides I donât even think he has feelings like that.âGL**
Rolling over onto his side, he couldnât help but feel sorry for Greg. Sorry for the fact that he had made the other feel that he couldnât share his true feelings. Mycroft had never really given his sexual side any thoughts as he felt that they were as unnecessary waste of time. But the more he thought about it, the more curious he became.
Come now, detective. Why must you sound so defeatist when it comes to this mystery man? Though he does sound like the complete opposite to yourself, you know what they say. Opposites attract. Have you tried speaking to him about how you feel? -MHÂ
Greg blushes and downs his pint, ordering another.
**I havenât but I donât want to ruin things between me and him. Itâs good. Really good. Heâs brilliant and witty and a great listener. I donât want to lose that by letting these feelings get in the way. Iâd rather keep him as a friend than lose him. Iâll just keep it a fantasy for now. Itâs fine. Iâll just dream of pinstripes forever.âGL**
He sighs and sips his new pint, feeling a bit sad but pleasantly buzzed.
Mycroft lay there, nervously beginning to chew on his fingernails. How had he been so blind to Gregâs feeling all this time. He was supposed to be the smart one, but now he just felt plain dumb.
Youâre making this man sound absolutely perfect, and if heâs as wonderful and perfect as youâre making out he is then Iâm sure he will understand. If not then he clearly isnât worth it. -MH
He sent, and then paused, even more curious than before.
ThoughâŠwhy donât you tell me more about this pinstripe fantasy of yours. -MH
Greg chuckles softly and hums, wondering Mycroft being so smart and observant is still in the dark. He honestly believes Mycroft doesnât know itâs him.
**Well the other problem with just telling him is because Iâm afraid to frankly. Iâm afraid heâll be disgusted with me for these feelings. Iâm afraid heâll cut me out of his life. Most of all Iâm afraid he wants me too..âGL**
He hums and licks his lips.
**Mm well heâs posh. So very posh. And he wears these three piece suits. And I just want to feel all that fabric presses against me. I want to peel layer after layer off him slowly. I want to unwrap him like the delicious gift he is. Sometimes I want to unwrap him. Other times I want him to strip me and fuck me while heâs still dressed. Feeling that expensive fabric against my sink as he fills me deep.âGL**
Greg blushes and shifts a bit, getting excited.
Mycroft was shocked, playing in his mind how it would all play out if Greg was actually doing to him the things he was speaking about in his message. The truth was, it was genuinely starting to turn him on. A feeling that he hadnât felt in many years.Â
So do you think that these suits that this man seems to wear so well would look equally as good on your bedroom floor? Perhaps he would prefer those perfectly pressed suits to become wrinkled. -MH
Greg licks his lips and goes to pay his tab, putting on his coat as he heads out to catch a cab. He looks as his phone as heâs driven to his tiny little flat.
**I know theyâd look perfect on him or the floor. Iâd wrinkle him and them perfectly. Heâd be such a mess after I was done with him. But really who am I kidding. I donât think I could ever be done with him.âGL**
Mycroft gave in internal moan at that last message, his mind buzzing with everything Greg wanted to do to him. The more he thought about it, the more he began to think it would be a wonderful idea. But there was something he wanted from Greg first. He needed the man to admit to who he was talking about. He wanted to hear that man say his nameâŠand then perhaps when the time was right heâd hear him groan his name.
Youâve been rather open and honest with me tonight about everything you want to do to this mysterious man in pinstripes. Yet you are yet to tell me his name. Surely you arenât going to deprive me of that. Are you? -MH
Greg pays the cabbie and stumbles into his flat, taking off his shoes and coat. He strips down to his pants before crawling into bed. He blinks slowly as his eyelids were heavy, looking at his phone.
**Honestly Iâve probably had a bit to much to drink tonight. Sorry if I made you uncomfortable. I never want to make you uncomfortable. I want other things with you. So many things. After all, youâre my pinstripes man, arenât you?âGL**
Greg tried to stay awake, wanting to know what Mycroft says but heâs just so exhausted from work and being up for almost three days straight from a case. He sends the text against his better judgment, blaming his sleep deprived brain as he finally passes out from exhaustion and alcohol.
This was exactly what Mycroft had been expecting, yet somehow actually seeing the detective inspector admit it to him still took him by surprise. While he knew exactly what he wished to respond to the other with, he somehow couldnât put his thoughts down in text. He hadnât been made to feel uncomfortable at all. Yet there was something deep down that he couldnât quite put his finger on.
Iâm your pinstripe man, am I? Well thenâŠIâm not your pinstriped man right now as Iâm in bed and wearing absolutely nothing. Have a pleasant nights sleep Gregory and get back to me in the morning if you wish to continue our conversation. If not I look forward to seeing you at our next appointment regarding my bothersome brother. -MH
Greg groans as he wakes the next morning, his head pounding. He gets up and shuffled to the kitchen, taking some pain meds and downing a glass of water. He decided to shower and put comfortable clothes on, thankful it was his day off. He picks up his phone and reads through the texts from the night before. âOh damn. Damn damn!â He groans and puts his face in his hands. He hadnât meant to tell Mycroft how he felt. He never meant to tell him. âStupid drunk brain. Stupid stupid.â He bites his lip and reads Mycroftâs last texts again before responding.
**Hey.. Iâm sorry about last night. I had a real bad few days at work the past few days. Some of my mates took me out to a pub to unwind. Apparently I unwound to much. Iâm so sorry I canât even tell you. I feel like such an idiot right now. I really hope I didnât make things weird. Iâm sorry.âGL**
He frowns and paces a bit before sending another text.
**I meant what I said though. Since itâs out in the open thereâs no taking it back so I might as well own up to it. I donât want this to change anything between us though. Iâm jus an idiot who drank to much. Sorry.âGL**
He sighs and sits back down.
**YouMs be willing to continue that conversation? Why? Because I made a total arsenal out of myself?âGL**
âAlright. You need to stop texting him. Make something to eat.â He mumbles and gets up, going to make breakfast. âNow youâre talking to yourself. Thatâs not concerning in the least.â He rolls his eyes.
By the time that Mycroft has received a response from Greg he was 45 minutes into a 2 hour conference call and was tapping his fingers against his desk with boredom. He knew that he shouldnât check his phone while at work but he could help himself. Seeing who it was who had texted him, he smiled to himself. While attempting to make it look like he was still paying attention to the man on the other end of the computer screen he looked down at his phone, shaking his head and laughing a little as he read what was in front of him.
You should never feel like an arse for speaking the truth, Gregory. What you should feel like an arse for is never declaring how you truly felt beforehand. Am I really that intimidating that you only felt you could be honest with me after becoming intoxicated? Believe it or not, underneath those pinstripes you love so dearly is in fact a human being. -MH
He felt himself melt a little, wondering what he could have done differently in order to make the other feel more comfortable round him. Never before had anyone felt that way about him so he was unsure of exactly how to progress with this conversation. Especially while in the middle of work. He did however know that it would be a while until he had some time to himself so continued to message Greg while only half paying attention to the political matters currently being spoken about.
I do hope that you slept well and are taking care of yourself this morning. i hear coffee and a bacon sandwich are good for a hangover. That and plenty of water. -MHÂ
Greg makes himself breakfast and carries it to the couch with some coffee. He sits down and gets comfortable, turning on the news and eating a bit before checking his phone. He actually feels himself blush some as he reads the texts.
**Iâll be honest and say that I havenât been intimidated by you since after he first time we met. You were intimidating then but only because you were in big brother mode over Sherlock. I guess I was being a coward for not telling you. I mean youâre my friend and I donât want to lose you because I had feelings for you that made you uncomfortable. I know youâre human, Mycroft. Probably more human than you think you are.âGL**
He hums and eats half of his sandwich.
**Youâll never be able to convince me youâre not psychic though. Cause I had already made bacon sandwich before reading your text. I slept like a rock and thankful I have the day off after almost two weeks. I hope you slept good too.âGL**
He hums and finishes his sandwich, relaxing back against the couch.
*I hope Iâm not distracting you from anything important. Iâm sure youâre busy as always.âGL**
In between nods at the camera and watching to make sure his assistant was making sufficient notes he couldnât help but focus his attention towards Greg. He was by far more interesting that hearing the French ambassador waffle on about Brexit and make jokes about how on earth weâd cope without their brie. He didnât even now why he had to be involved in this call as it wasnât even an issue that deserved his attention. After all it was all apparently being taken care of.
What on earth could be more important than you, dear Gregory. Iâm just in a conference call with some bonkers French man whoâs talking brie and Brexit at me. Youâre probably right, you know. I am most likely more human than I know or care to admit. -MH
He put the phone down, attempting to focus on what the ambassador was saying. After all, it wasnât fair to solely rely on Anthea and her impressive note taking skills to keep him up to date with things.
So Gregory. Do you have any plans for the rest of your day? -MH
Greg chuckles as he reads the texts.
**Boring Frenchmen and their cheese. How do you cope?âGL**
**Not really. Probably should do a bit of grocery shopping since Iâm pretty much out of everything. Other than that I can relax.âGL**
Mycroft laughed, realizing that the more he spoke to the other man the less he actually wanted to be at work and the more he wanted to spend time with Greg. It had been a long time since he had actually wanted to be in the company of another person.Â
Grocery shopping. Now thatâs something I havenât done myself in a very long time. I never really have the time to do the simple things in life. Perhaps after I wrap things up with the French I could perhaps come shopping with you. Perhaps even cook dinner for you as well? I canât imagine that you really want to cook yourself after last nightâs little adventure. -MH
Mycroft realized how silly it sounded, going grocery shopping with Greg. But somehow the thought of it seemed somewhat appealing.Â
Greg blinks as he reads the text once, twice, and then a third time.
**If youâd like to join me that would be great. But I have to warn you itâs terribly mundane. Maybe we could cook together?âGL**
He bites his lip as he sends the text, definitely trying his best to not think of this as a date even though itâs more intimate than anything heâs done with another human being in a long time.
Mycroft found himself in his own little world, chewing on his fingernails and thinking about what on earth he was doing. Could it be possible that he did like Greg in a more than friendship kind of way? It was becoming increasingly more possible in his mind. He had thoughts of cooking together, doing things together. He no longer wanted to be on his own, but he actually wanted to do things with Greg. As a couple?
Cooking dinner together sounds perfect. I know somewhere I have this wonderful recipe for chicken, ham and leek pie.It was something mother would cook for me all the time. We could have it with creamy mash and green vegetables. How does that sound? Sorry to ramble but Iâm actually quite excited about this. -MH
Gregâs smiles turns to a full blown grin by the time he finishes reading the text.
**That sounds amazing. Perfect. Should I meet you at the store or would you rather picking me up?âGL**
Greg hums happily, nearly bouncing like an excited toddler.
Mycroft looked at the clock and sighed. What heâd do for time to just speed up and he could get out of here. This conference called seemed to be going on far too long, and surely there was only so much more that had to be said on the matter.
Give me another half an hour and Iâll send a car over for you. By the time you and the car get to my office this hellish nightmare should be over. Look forward to seeing you soon x -MH
Greg blushes brightly over the x.
**Great. Iâm gonna shower quick and get dressed. Iâll make things better. Promise xâGL**
Mycroft was getting impatient and time seemed to be standing still for him. He tried to hurry along the conversation by explaining that he had a lunchtime appointment with another client and for the most it seemed to be working. That was until the door to his office opened before the call could end and he saw Greg standing in the doorway. His face just lit up and to him nothing else mattered in that moment.
Greg smiles as he sees Mycroft, trying not to blush at how excited Mycroft looks to see him but failing completely. He winks and takes a seat, patiently waiting for Mycroft to finish up his business.
Mycroft could feel himself getting all flustered; the man had just winked at him. Nobody had ever winked at him before, yet he knew that he had to remain professional as the ambassador could still see him. âSo sorry, but my next client is here to see me. Keep me posted on any changes that are decided upon and we can arrange another call at a later date if necessaryâ He promptly hung up the call and turned his chair towards the door l, a shy smile on his face. âDetective inspectorâ
âMr. Holmes.â Greg smiles. âYou didnât have to hang up on my account. I donât mind waiting.â He gets up, walking to his desk. âSo? Shopping?â He hums. âThought about what we should make?â
His jaw dropped open a little as he watched the other man move across his office. âWellâŠshopping. It isnât exactly necessary as Iâve hsd Anthea place an order for everything youâd need to be delivered to your flat. Including some of your favourite beer.â He gave a cough, attempting to remain composed and hoping that he hadnât crossed a line. To him it just seemed like the logical thing, and promises of shopping had caused Greg to now be perched on his desk in front of him. âTea?â He asked, knowing that Anthea was already making a pot.
âSure.â Greg nods, sitting on the edge of Mycroftâs desk. âHow do you know what my favorite beer is? Had a peek at my shopping list? Or my tab from the pub?â He chuckles, teasing. He knows Mycroft watches everyone connected with Sherlock like hawks. He was a bit irked by it at first but now itâs just the norm. âYou donât like shopping, do you?â He smirks at him.
âIts not that I donât like shopping. Its just its a foreign concept to me. Its rare for me to spend time at my own home so thereâs never really a need for me to do it. Cooking however has always been something I have always enjoyed but I never have the time for it with workâ. Taking a sip of the tea Anthea had just placed in front of him he smiled at the other man. âAs for knowing your favourite beer, its quite simple. You do recall that you were drunkenly messaging me. Correct? When it became apparent that Mr Pinstripes was definitely me I had someone keep an eye on you and ensure that you got home safely.â
âThank you.â Greg smiles as Anthea hands him tea as well. âThatâs very.. Protective of you.â He chuckles softly, sipping his tea. âWell then Iâm glad tonight youâll have the chance to indulge your hobby tonight.â
He smiled to himself, taking a sip of his tea. âI was perhaps hoping that youâd allow me to indulge in a little more than just my hobby tonight, Gregoryâ. His face suddenly turned a shade of red as he reaslised that he had spoken out loud rather than to himself. âIâm so sorry, Gregory. I do hope you can forgive my little outburst thereâ he stuttered, hiding behind his teacup.
Greg brows shoot to his hairline and laughs. âIâm here to indulge you in whatever youâd like. You already know my stance on things from my.. Drunken wrong number texting. Honestly I couldnât be more happy with the results even though Iâm still embarrassed by it. It got me here to have tea with you so Iâm pleased.â He smiles softly, not wanting Mycroft to feel embarrassed around him. âYou can tell me whatever youâd like, Myc. Iâm not going to turn you away.â He adds softly, sipping his tea.
He spluttered on his tea a little listening to the other man talk. I suppose Gregâs right, he thought to himself. The cat was already out of the bag so he might as well be upfront and honest about what was on his mind.
âGregoryâŠâ he began, trying to remain as composed as possible. âAs you are most likely aware, I have had very little interest in partaking in any activities with other people. To me most people are boring, small minded and incredibly dull. But youâŠIâm not sure what it is about you but I find myself wanting to get to know you better. PerhapsâŠget to know you intimately as wellâ.
âOh.â Greg blushes. âWell this is better than I thought. I thought it would just be a one time shag but yeah. I want to know you. In and out of bed.â He chuckles softly and smiles.
He placed the cup down, pushing it away from him.
âIâm not exactly sure what I want exactly. My experience over the years has been very limited. In fact, itâs been practically none existent. As a man who is usually in full control of any situation, I hand over all control of this to you. I understand that you are experienced in these mattersâ.
âI..â Greg shrugs and sets his cup down. âItâs not exactly a typical start. But I guess. Experience or not it doesnât really matter because each type of relationship is different. What do you want? Friends with benefits? Or booty calls? Or an actual relationship?â He looks at him.
Mycroft gave a small shrug, hating not knowing how or what to feel.Â
âI donât know exactly what it is I want, but what I am certain of is that I want youâ
He could feel himself shaking as he stared into the other manâs eyes. He had somewhat of a lost puppy look to him.Â
âGregoryâŠâ he said softly. âWould you care to kiss me?â
âItâs okay not to know. Weâll navigate.â Greg smiles softly and stands, taking Mycroftâs hand and pulling him up to stand.
âI would love to kiss you.â He says softly, having to look up just a bit at him.
Mycroft could feel himself relax as Gregâs hand rested on him. He ran his tongue across his lips as the other man left him with butterflies in his stomach.
He leaned in, softly pressing his lips against the other mans, feeling himself melt into Greg.
Greg cups Mycroftâs face in one hand and kisses him tenderly as the other hand rests on his hip. He keeps the kiss soft and gentle so Mycroft doesnât get overwhelmed, gently running the the top of his tongue against Mycroftâs lower lip.
âEasy there, darling. Canât have you falling for me just yet.â Greg chuckles softly, having to wrap his arm around Mycroftâs waist as he felt Mycroftâs legs buckle a bit.
Mycroft smiled, catching his balance and trying to remain as composed as possible. "Well, inspector. Falling isn't a habit which I wish to pick up. But truth be told, if I was going to start with anyone, I can think of no-one better than you "
So sorry
I just want to give all my followers a very big and sincere apology for my lack of posts recently. As some of you are aware, I am due to have a baby within the next few weeks and my time has been devoted to making sure everything is ready for my baby girls arrival. Hopefully after she arrives and we get into a routine I can pick up where I left off with this blog, and the amazing writing I had going with you all xxx
Hope you stick around.
"I am only human and we all make mistakes." - You don't really have any right to play the victim here. You were obviously in the wrong. And you start your apology by acting like people were meanies for asking you not to rip art and put fat jokes on it?
Im not trying to play victim here. I know I was wrong to do it and admitted that. But you can't tell me that you've never made a single mistake in your life. I took down the post and and there is literally nothing else I can do. So please just let this go. I've been awake for maybe all of half an hour and am doing my best here. I hadn't even got out of bed when i first saw the comments after I had been asleep all night. I can't work miracles and try and defuse something while I'm not online.
Its clear that no matter what I say or do you're not going to be happy so please just leave me alone. If you don't like my blog then just don't look at it or interact with it.
Hey, I just wanted to say - itâs not really considered good manners to take work from someone and change it without their permission, even if you do give them credit for the picture. Youâll find yourself not too popular if you keep doing it. Just a heads up as your name is going around as someone to watch out for - people can see artists arenât happy, and you donât seem to be taking the hint that people are annoyed. Youâd be wise to take the images down and apologise to get original artists.
I understand the frustrations of people, but what you all have to remember is I am only human and we all make mistakes. In regards for not taking hint, it difficult to do that when you're actually in bed asleep. I have just woken up and see what's happened and I genuinely am sorry for it.
It was all supposed to be a little bit of light hearted fun, but I forgot to take into consideration the original meaning behind the picture. I just hope that I can be forgiven as I never meant to cause upset or hurt.
I shall delete the post.

Mycroft could feel himself relax as Greg's hand rested on him. He ran his tongue across his lips as the other man left him with butterflies in his stomach.
He leaned in, softly pressing his lips against the other mans, feeling himself melt into Greg.
He had somewhat of a lost puppy look to him.Â
âGregory...â he said softly. âWould you care to kiss me?â
The cat was already out of the bag so he might as well be upfront and honest about what was on his mind.
âGregory...â he began, trying to remain as composed as possible. âAs you are most likely aware, I have had very little interest in partaking in any activities with other people. To me most people are boring, small minded and incredibly dull. But you...Iâm not sure what it is about you but I find myself wanting to get to know you better. Perhaps...get to know you intimately as wellâ.
He hums and finishes his sandwich, relaxing back against the couch.

Clearly Greg hasnât learnt not to drunkenly text Mycroft.
Does he not remember what happened last time he did that?
Poor Mycroft broke up with his little Greggy Bear again...
But with them a break up is never forever. Those two are just too good together.
We all know that make up sex is way better than breakup sex anyways.
Sherlockâs noticed how Johnâs been looking at their new neighbor, and thought heâd share some of the things that heâs observed about the new man.Â
