I'm super lucky to have a flexible schedule in which I get to hang out with my dad year round. He has shown me that men and women are equal by choosing to be a stay at home dad while my mom worked full-time. My Mexican, feminist dad, you helped me become the best version of me today.

My father is a Vietnam War Veteran. Luckily his ability to read and write saved him from the front lines, and he stayed in Louisiana the whole time. He says that almost all of his neighbors who were drafted came home in body bags.
