I knew it. I can't believe it's happening. Why didn't you tell me?

thinking about this scene and how shauna's 'meaningful conversation' is about food because she starved in the wilderness and now doesn't have to starve anymore. and because she ate jackie also. but it doesn't mean anything to callie
Alex & Carole - Wingwomen (2023)
So, I've been thinking about this caring side of Shauna alot:
-How we are led to think she could be on Tai's side about freezing Allie but she passes her the ball when Allie calls her for it during practice. How she's right there when Allie gets hurt.
-How she jumps without thinking trying to save Van from the flames.
-How she embraces Javi when his dad is stuck in the tree and falls down, how she chastises Nat when what she says could upset Javi.
-How she lets Jackie be the brave one when she needs it, how she gives her a pep talk when she understands she needs that, how she tries to make her eat when she's not eating and how she makes the others follow her plan with the seance and then helps her set it up, how she tries to be serious because she knows it will upset Jackie if others don't play along.
-How she holds Lottie when she's having a psychotic breakdown and talks to her softly to calm her down.
-How she needs to be there for Tai when she stubbornly stays in the attic.
-How she runs to Van when she is hurt.
-How she holds Taissa when she is scared of herself and tells her she'll stay awake all night.
-How she offers Javi pages of her journal to write and how she allows him to get the knife to make a Wolf from wood.
-How she gets the worms for them to eat with Akillah when they run out of meat and how she is the one who cooks them this time.
-How she cuts the meat so that it lasts for everyone and makes sure they all get the same size even though she's pregnant.
-How she's gracious with the baby shower and everyone's gifts even if she's not excited herself nor she understands them.
-How she helped with the Moose even though she was heavily pregnant.
-How she got the hot water for Nat.
-How she got the blanket for Lottie.
-How she held her baby for dear life until she buried him.
-How she accepted her role as the butcher without a single word but hesitated to kill Nat.
-How she cut Javi but told the others to leave to carry that burden on her own.
-How she cut the meat so that it wouldn't look human to the team but how she kept the heart for Travis.
-How she was hurt for not being chosen and how she still doesn't believe in the Wilderness but she nodded her alliance to Nat.
-How after all those years she will still hold Taissa to help her sleep if she needs it.
-How much effort she puts into getting her family food with meat that she makes sure to butcher and cook herself
-How she will get her daughter's stuffed bunny back even if she doesn't care anymore about it.
You can say anything you want about Shauna but you can't say she does not care. 🫠
