Many were the tears shed by them in their last adieus to a place so much beloved. ‘Dear, dear Norland!’ said Marianne, as she wandered alone before the house, on the last evening of their being there; ‘when shall I cease to regret you?-when learn to feel a home elsewhere?— happy house! could you know what I suffer in now viewing you from this spot, from whence perhaps I may view you no more!-and…

thinking about them (swans doing the perfect heart thing)
tell me again love isn't real. i dare you.
I’m thinking about people and trees and how I wish I could be silent more, be more tree than anything else, less clumsy and loud, less crow, more cool white pine, and how it’s hard not to always want something else, not just to let the savage grass grow.
Mowing by Ada Limón, from Bright Dead Things
we woke up at around 6, and the sun was starting to rise over the woods. the bed we shared was positioned in the exact spot the sun hit once it climbed over the horizon, and we went to the balcony to watch it make its way above the scenery while i told him all about the different sort of trees that filled our city with such pretty colors throughout the years. we went back inside and when he sat, his back against the wall, he fit exactly in the rectangle of light that passed through the balcony glass door, painting him with such warm, golden tint, i wished i had artistic enough qualities and a paint set at hand so that image could somehow be perpetuated somewhere other than my unreliable, silly brain. we cuddled a little more, before we decided to go back to sleep, and then woke up at 10. we talked a lot, stared at each other fondly a lot, he mentioned how crazy it was that we got along so well and so fast, i braided his beautiful hair while we listened to sufjan stevens, he told me how what we were doing in spanish was called "hacer fiaca" and i decided "hacer fiaca" was pretty much what i wanted to do for the rest of my life. it was, essentially, a quiet, sunny, lovely morning, the way i wish all of them were.

Don't underestimate the power of gratitude. Gratitude has the potential to transform your entire life. Gratitude is one of the most magical frequencies in the entire Universe. Gratitude is the frequency of abundance. Gratitude is the frequency of receiving. Gratitude always multiplies your blessings.
Teach yourself how to feel gratitude. Gratitude needs to be felt. It needs to be experienced. Writing down stuff you’re grateful for without feeling gratitude isn't that effective. Gratitude is a vibration. In order to produce this vibration, you need to connect to the feeling of gratitude.
Allow gratitude to permeate your being. Feel gratitude with your heart. Feel gratitude with every particle of your body. When you become the vibration of gratitude, you start attracting magical circumstances into your life. Allow gratitude to fill your life. Allow gratitude to give you a magnificent reality.
