It Has Been Awhile!
Okay so I did not fall off the face of the earth. I had a period of time where I let my hopes go way up for something and when It was denied to me, I got very upset. I am not currently working and have been battling unemployment to help me get a grant to go back to school for training. There were so many hoops I had to jump through and it took up a lot of my time when I was not helping out with family things.
I wrote up a 5 page training proposal and was told by my school that I was accepted into the program barring I could get the funding from unemployment. I am not a very book smart person and school has always been hard for me. When all of this came up so fast, I was very overwhelmed. Then as fast as it was all offered and ready to start.............................................the funding went belly up.
So this got me in a bit of a slump. I did not go off my weight watchers plan. I actually put my energy and anger into my workouts. I started back up with my HIIT sprint training and upped my weights. I do not handle disappointment well but handling it this way is better than eating the disappointment thats for sure. I will post my weigh in from Monday in a little bit. I like posting them here because it makes me feel like I am accountable to someone, even if that someone is the great big void of the internet.
This is a new week. I like that the meeting topic this week focused on being Awesome. I need a little awesome right now!
I also need to go grocery shopping but that is a whoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooole other task!
Made Overnight Oats for the first time! I was pleasantly surprised. Whole thing was 6pp!
Ok so I did weigh in. I feel so much better!
Question
For my fellow Weight Watchers members, have you ever gone to a meeting but skipped weighing in? How was it for you? I’m thinking about that for tonight.
I haven’t gone to WW and not weighed in yet, but I always find the meetings to be helpful; especially if I haven’t lost weight that week. It gets me motivated again!
I love my meeting! I'm hoping tonight is a good one. I am just exhausted and really need it tonight. I think I'm going to weigh in and just deal with the feedback from the scale. I'm feeling a little better about it after clearing my head.

I’ve never done that I didn’t even know they allowed it. May I ask why you’re skipping the weigh-in? There have been weeks when I gained but it motivated me to do better.
I am at goal so I only have to weigh in once a month. I feel like I am getting very fixated on the number and with a lot of outside stresses going on I don't know if I can handle seeing any number today. I am probably going to weigh in. But yes, once you hit goal you are able to take the option to weigh in just once a month.

Rough.
Today started off so good! But then it went south fast. I had a great walk and an amazing workout. I think lifting brought up some thoughts I had been choosing to ignore. Wound up in tears on the way home. Good lord part of tonight has been rough.

Seeing as there are so many pictures of girls with flawless, fair skin all over tumblr, I just wanted to share this picture I saw showcasing the a body slightly different from the ones we see over this website, which is the one of a woman after her pregnancy.
I think this is beand I believe it does deserve at least a bit of recognition because this IS an absolutely beautiful body.

Rough nights as of late
I did not sleep well last night. It seems to be more often than not that I am having nightmares. I wake up with a sudden jolt, look around to make sure I am awake, and try so hard not to remember what I had just seen in my dreams. It is making sleep very difficult for me. I love my sleep. I do not know what is causing this. But it seems like every other day I am having three or four terrifying nightmares at night.
I did not want to go to the gym today. I had no motivation to do any of my workouts. I only went because of the sheer routine of it all. However, once I got there and got into my routine I was so grateful that I made the choice to go.
At first I thought just driving there was all I was going to be able to do. But then I made it into the locker room. Then my stuff made it into the locker. Then I made it onto the treadmill. Next thing I know, I half an hour has gone by. All my cardio was done. I made it to the arm weights. 20 minutes have gone by and I did my favorite workout routine there. I felt so good!
I don’t regret going to the gym. But I know I would regret it if I skipped it. Thank God for routines! Keeping with my routine is what helps me keep my fitness today. Now if only tonight will be a nightmare free night, I will be a happy girl!
After a 7.8lbs loss a .4 gain is not bad! Not going to let it worry me. I hope all you guys have a fabulous week!
Movie Survival!
It used to be I would get a bucket of popcorn and dumped a big box of Milk Duds into the bucket. That tasted amazing but did nothing but add to the scale. Today I am bringing precut strawberries and a bag of Skinny Pop. My movie theater is good to me. They understand I have a few food allergies that cause me to carry an epi pen and sometimes I get anxiety over cooking oils in the popcorn (being rushed to the hospital in the throes of an allergic reaction and overweight is not fun!! but that's for another post!).
