Ryan and Carissa’s relationship was new.
“I can’t wait for you to meet daddy!” Carissa said cheerfully. Carissa was an only child. She was greatly adored and spoiled by her dad. Ryan was nervous to meet her father. He really liked Carissa and hoped her dad would approve of him.
Carissa and Ryan arrived at Carissa’s father's house. He was waiting for them standing on the front porch.
“Daddy!” Carissa ran to her father and jumped into his arms. Ryan slowly followed Carissa and her dad into his house. Carissa's dad locked the door behind him. Ryan glanced at the kitchen table and noticed there was no food sitting out. The house didn’t smell like anything was cooking either. Ryan started to get worried.
“Daddy, isn’t he perfect?”
“Are you sure this is the one you want?” her father questioned.
“Yes, daddy! A million times yes!” Carissa was practically jumping for joy.
“Okay, I’ll go get the Shrinkinator.”
“Shrink-wha- aren’t we supposed to be eating dinner?” Ryan stuttered as the sweat dripped down his face.
“Shut the hell up, you bastard! You keep your mouth shut while my baby girl explains what’s gonna happen to you!”
Ryan froze as Carissa started to chuckle with the Shrinkinator in her hand.
“W-what’s that th-thing going to do to me?” Ryan whimpered.
Carissa’s father tackled Ryan to the ground. He was much stronger than Ryan so there was no way Ryan could break free.
“You see here... is the greatest invention of all time. My daddy is so smart. He loves me so much. He created the Shrinkinator for me.” Carissa told with widened eyes and a smile.
Ryan looked up and could see Carissa’s father’s nose hair.
“Ever since my baby girl could walk she loved finding ants outside and squashing them. It gave me the perfect idea. I’ll create a device that can shrink people... Specifically, boys and she can squish them to death.” Her father said with a grin.
“Yes, death.” Carissa chuckled.
“Any last words, Ryan?” she asked.
Ryan was silent. He was in so much shock, he couldn't’ speak. Carissa aimed the Shrinkinator at Ryan. Ryan tried to escape Carissa’s father's grip but couldn't.
Ryan was the size of an ant. He looked around. Everything was so big. Carissa’s dad pulled over a chair and sat down. Carissa took off her black flats. Ryan started to run as fast as he could.
“Squash that prick! Squash him like an ant!” Carissa’s dad chanted. Ryan got tired of running and collapsed to the floor. Carissa hovered over Ryan. She lifted her right leg and hovered her right foot above Ryan. The stench of Carissa’s feet was too much for him to handle. He gagged. Carissa wiggled her toes. Then she stomped on Ryan. He had never felt so much pain in his life.
“Finish him!” Ryan heard.
“Don’t feel bad,” Carissa said. “You aren’t the first and you won’t be the last.”
This time Carissa stomped as hard as she could. Ryan’s body popped like a grape. His blood and guts were just a small stain on the carpet that matched the others. Sure enough, Ryan was not the first victim of Carissa and her father’s sick ant game. He would most certainly not be the last victim either.
