How I think the AOT Cast would Sneeze
A/N: this is literally just a funny thing that was inspired by hearing my mom and sister violently sneeze in different ways.
Has cute sneezes:

Sneezes shamelessly like a dad:

—Boutta see them turn on the television and fall asleep with that sneeze.

warnings: kinda sad? kinda describing anxiety, jean comforting
when i stop to think about the exact moment that i am afraid is when i go blank and do not know what to answer. but he lives there. he lives between and irregular heartbeat, heavy breathing and eternal confusion. he watches me, his face is in front of mine and i can notice the way his pupils dilate at each sob that i release effortlessly.
sometimes i find it difficult to see his face clearly because my tears do not stop falling.
“oh love” he says softly, stroking my cheeks in an attempt to stop the tears, what he does not know is that they fall more easily this way. i feel like I'm losing it, i feel like I'm losing him too.
“i can’t stop the tears” my voice leaves my mouth just in a whisper
i can feel how my legs are drawn up against my chest as he caresses my knees with his free hand so that he can relax my muscles and allow me to get tangled up in his body, seeking for comfort once more.
my spine is shaking inside my body, it feels like I'm freezing.
“i made everyone leave my side”
jean dropped his backpack to the ground, as he ditched his coat and adjusted the vest i wore over my favorite shirt of his. i sighed once to try no to choke. his arms wrapped around me once more, like every time i sleep on his chest, looking for something that i still can’t find.
while his hand rested on the back of my neck, i kept repeating to myself that i had it all but never knew how to see it.
blaming myself again.
“you know? my mother used to say something to me whenever i was sad. She used to tell me to look at the moon, have you ever noticed all the times she leaves you after she’s at her highest point?” i nod, the tears stop for a second “she needs to disappear and eliminate all traces of her existence to start growing every time she needs it, and she comes back, she always comes back in a new form, with a different color and totally ready to shine for us who wait for her”
i break away from his embrace just to look into his eyes, trying to understand what he’s saying.
“what I'm trying to say is that you remind me of the moon my mother used to talk about, there are times when you need to disappear without a trace to come back restoring yourself, today is one of those times”
my eyes fill with tears one more time but i make an effort so that they do not come out, instead of crying, i flood my face in his neck to feel that all the warmth is real.
his heart is rhythmic, like a hummingbird.
“i will be at the window always waiting for you to reach your highest point, even though i can see you shine every day even if you don’t notice it”
my hands grab his torso tighter.
“you’re going to be okay my love” he whispers.
i close my eyes, trying to breath again.
