The idea that we have to attach ourselves to a specific degree, profession or a lifestyle to be worthy is the worst thing that capitalism has done to us. It has lowered our self-esteem and has shattered our confidence. No matter what you do, where you are as long as you are you and trying you are worthy and you deserve all the love in this world. Always remember that your degree, your profession and your lifestyle are not your personality. How you treat people and how kind you are is what really matters!

Its been a tough year, a very tough year indeed. Bracing through all the storms that life threw at you, you are here.

You are strong and brave.

You are a warrior

You are better than you give yourself credit for.

If you are healing from any sorts of trauma, i hope you have stable recovering.

If you are learning to love yourself like me, I hope you shower yourself with all the love in the world.

If you are planning to reaching your goals, all the best for that.

I just hope the next year is kinder on my mental health and everyone else because we need that after these tough years.

terrible years really make you understand the point of a new year. i know nothing much will have changed between dec 31 and jan 1, but we need to be able to partition off everything that’s happened to us, we need a moment to say, ‘that’s done, we’re done with it, it’s over’ and have a little hope that the future will be different. we need to be able to stop and take a breath and sing, in the middle of winter, and prepare ourselves for spring.
