roberts has kate as a backup 4. Why? Who knows. But that’s why she’s not playing much. The reality is she’s just not going to play much if at all for roberts this season. It’s not the end of the world. She has the offseason to do something and then she has a contract next year with the sparks who will hopefully have a new coach and GM next season. Some players wait years to get their shot and prove what they can do. Look at AC, Jess Shepherd, VB, KT, Meg dileo even Rae. There’s a reason that MIP is almost always given to a player who’s been in the league a few years before they take a leap- because sometimes players are waiting on the bench for years for the right coach and system. Maybe have a bit of faith in kate that she’ll keep working hard and get that opportunity soon
