Golden Girls was more progressive decades ago than half of America now.

One time when I was like 18 I knew this girl who had absolutely no boobs whatsoever. She was flat as a pancake and I was so jealous and one day she heard me complaining about sports bras and she was like omg I hate them!

And I was like Bethany.....there is no way in Earth you ever would have to wear a bra. I mean no one should ever HAVE to wear a bra in the first place but if you didn't nobody would even NOTICE and she was like : O

And then the next day she saw me out in public and she struck a pose and yelled from like fifty yards away "MALLAIDH ANNE!!! IM NOT WEARING A BRA!!!!"

And I was like yay!!!

And then for like. A while afterward EVERY time she saw me I knew whether or not she had a bra on because if she didn't she'd be like "hey Mallaidh Anne I'm not wearing a bra."

And it got to the point that some people were like "is she....did she just tell you she's not wearing a bra?? Is she....blatantly hitting on you in some weird way" and I was like "no no she's straight it's okay I just freed her from her mortal confines that's all."
