Bruh it almost tells a story in itself

Going in for that kiss, hesitant but still really really want to go through with it

But then break off in a lil bit of embarassment, not quite going through with the kiss and breaking off before. But still they found something to laugh at because of how tense the situation was before.

Get caught up in one hell of a giggle fit that goes on for who knows long that they're almost crying. They still got their arms around each other, the laughter receding but the smiles still remaining. Maybe they didn't go through with it right now but there's always next time.

They can wait.

The crisp ocean air greeted Lucy under the twinkling sky.  Though the white crests and faint glow of the stars was distant, it was the closest she’d ever been to the ocean. The size of it teased her senses and pushed her to meet it . If not for the exertion that came from her hobbled steps, she’d have reached the beach a long time ago. The trail was short but, without her cane, each step jolted her nerves and stretched the distance further.

It gave her time to admire the village as they passed it. 

“Maybe I should have carried you,” Natsu said , the concern in his voice broke through her awe. He was taking it upon himself to keep her balance, keeping an arm around her waist to hold her upright as they walked. “Do you need a break?

Yes, she did, but Lucy denied it. “Not yet.” She said, ignoring his disbelieving stare. “If I’m getting a tour, then I need to last a little longer,” She compromised, “I’ll tell you when I absolutely need one. Is that fair?”

“If you say so,” He replied, uncertain. His weight shifted and Natsu tightened his arm, pulling her close enough to step on his toes. 

“Uhm-” Thankful for the sudden redistribution of weight, Lucy struggled with a flare of embarrassment that sizzled through her face and lungs. It wasn’t the first time she had been this close to Natsu, but her body reacted every time. The beating of her heart thumped in Lucy’s ears and her mouth ran dry. Natsu’s body was unnaturally warm: something she had noticed many times, but was now fully aware of. It seeped through the fabric of their clothes and caused a tingle to run up her spine, “You know, my knee probably shouldn’t be babied like this. Maybe you should-”

“Shhht!” He hissed, silencing her and he gestured his head in the direction of a few cottages nearby, “We’ll be caught if you wake ‘em!”

Natsu wasn’t sure how he had got into this mess… Quite literally. Lucy’s kitchen had become a disaster. Flour had been spilt on the floor, spoons and bowls stacked high in the sink. There was even cake batter that had been splattered on the wall from when Natsu got a little too carried away with the mixing.

However, the real mess was before him was Lucy. He didn’t know what he had done. She had a can of whipped cream for when the cake was finished in the oven (despite his protests that he could just cook it in his hands) and, while unceremoniously squirting some of the fluffy stuff on her hand for a taste, it had fallen just below her collarbone.

He had done what anyone would do, well what anyone he thought would do. Natsu leaned into Lucy, her neck at the perfect height as she propped herself up on the kitchen bench, and sucked the cream from her soft skin.

His tongue darted out first, the hot muscle flicking up her collarbone, and then he closed his lips over the skin - sucking off the residue that was left from the dollop of cream.

Lucy gasped as her hand came up to what Natsu thought would be to push him away. Yet, she surprised him when she tightened her fist on his coat and pulled him closer.

A soft moan left her lips.

Random idea that’s prob been thought of before.

Lucy, annoyed and tired of Natsu going through her shit, pulling pranks on her, and in general making her flustered and frustrated/angry. Decides to just NOT react. Nothing. He wears her panties on his head and runs around her apartment saying it’s a new mask with her towel tied around his neck like he’s some super villain with a pink frilly face covering?

Doesn’t react.

He flips her skirt? Nothing.

It starts to confuse the hell out of Natsu and his antics only get worse until one day he just straight up kisses her out of frustration. Because surely THAT will get a reaction. Seeing her frustrated/red face one of his all time favorite things.

It does get a reaction, but one he’s surprised at. She kisses him back. It turns a bit naughty even. A little grope or two. Then she ends the kiss, licks her kiss swollen lips, and walks away with a wink back at him. Hips swaying invitingly.

Natsu, stunned and definitely turned on just sits there and takes it in. That flush on her face, the slight panting they were both doing from their passionate lip lock, and the small noises she had let out had all but floored him. Then he smirks wide. He’s found a new favorite reaction and plans to see it daily.

Multiple times a day in fact.
