My legend, coveted - My path, eminent

This is a blog for an Alternate Universe roleplay surrounding the characters of Final Fantasy. Taking place on a world called Gaia (not the one of VII or IX), the land is shattered by two great empires and arising rebellions. Traveling on the three continents of Mar, Vald and Sils, you play a character of Final Fantasy fame and try to conquer the laws of the land as well as the dangers of nature.

I have a question for everybody.

I am creating an informative channel on youtube with the purpose to inform the audience about all the different forms of art And to help inspire them. I honestly cannot think of a catchy short name for the channel’s name. I need the name broad enough to encompass all arts but something catchy. I am accepting all suggestions. Can anyone help?

Well now Im not sure what to do. I think BUTTS and Galuf found out Faris was a girl while Faris was sleeping. Thats my assumption. And now it won’t come out of his/her room. And the villager I tried talking to for five minutes was not ignoring me and breaking my emulator. Turned out to be a chimney. So where should I go now?

So, as you all know-

We've all been suffering a ton of "Tumblar dramu" recently- all of us have. Not just myself.

So, I'm gonna just say that the AU is NOT dead. I'm gonna force myself to start it. Probably not tonight, but hopefully by tomorrow evening. Arc 2 will be started- and I think Arc 1 can be started as well.

Also! Like this post if you want some writing challenges sent to you. They're like prompts, but specific to your character. It will keep you occupied- feel free to post drabbles or journal entries to keep your muse alive, as I plan on doing with my characters.

So! We've got our own tag!! Everything relating to the RP should be put under 'FFLegend' exactly like that. PLEASE TRACK IT.

Everyone is required to make a sub-blog or new blog of some kind. Please tell me once you do so that I can add it to the blog list! Sorry if it's inconvenient, but I don't want to lose track of the RP. And please follow everyone so no one is left out!! A new blog is HEAVILY recommended, so that the AU won't get mixed up on your main dash.

AND!! For music reccomendations, here's what you can do: Just simply post a new youtube video to the main blog (please keep it youtube!) and I'll add it in! Stick to the main theme of the AU when posting- piano, string instruments, orchestras, a general fantasy feel.

ALSO! Feel free to reblog or post images that inspire you and that you feel relate!! Have fun with the blog- there's a reason you're all members of it!! Post what you like!

You won't get in trouble for posting, so feel free to make this as much as your blog as your main! Just keep on topic please~

CLOUD NOTES FOR ARC 2

He is but a lowly foot-soldier for the Everlin Empier who aims to be an elite warrior just like the famous General. After his mother died, he blames himself for not being able to save her, so he left his quiet home town for the empire to pursue his dreams in order to prove himself. Despite his bravado, Cloud is unable to make it into the elite and becomes an ordinary infantryman. Though this does not waver his determination.

During a ruckus in the streets, Cloud shows off some impressive sword skills for just a regular grunt, but is unfortunately wounded. He was then taken to the fabled Sage to be healed where he is unafraid and he soon befriends the strange youth. 

When he has recovered, the higher ups saw that he was the only one who was not afraid of the Sage. Thus they put the responsibility of becoming the Sage's bodyguard and escort on Cloud as "punishment" for his brash actions before.

Garnet notes for Arc 1

A princess of Rozu, though no one actually knows of her. Garnet is a princess hidden by her own castle due to the horn on her forehead, representing her origin as a summoner. Despite this, her royal duties and love for her people remains strong in her heart.

Tired of being unwanted, she set out on a journey, one involving an escape from the castle, to observe the nations, hoping to discover a way for the betterment of the kingdom. During her travels she meets Balthier the pirate, Zidane the mute and Rinoa the wood witch.

Lightning Notes for Arc One

A woman whose demeanor is as frigid and unforgiving as the tundra from which she hails, Lightning took up her name in honor of the deity to which she pledged herself.

A templar of Sils and disciple of the Warrior God Odin, she is tasked with the duty of executing the wood witch Rinoa, whom the Oracle of Shiva has witnessed in visions and deemed a threat for reasons yet unknown. The young devotee is unquestioning, and with a small outfit sets out to erradicate the menacing heathen.

However, it is not long before she is all that remains of her company of countrymen...

Vincent notes for Arc 2

Vincent Valentine- One of the best assassins people can hire, along with his partner Cid. Recently, they were hired by the Kingdom called Rozu to assassinate the one named Bartz. The purpose being for the crystal that Bartz currently possesses that provides power to himself since the kingdom wants everyone to be equal. Being that Vincent makes a living out of this carrier, he is the best to hire.
