Self-proclaimed poet laureate, ignoring the constant roaring sounds, Of the hoards of mindless let downs, Tearing down anyone who's just a little bit different... But listen... If nobody else has told you recently, you're special & I love you.
Who knows how to read one of these?
And the final share for the poems, a piece titled "Joel", dedicated to a friend who committed suicide right after I graduated high school. This chapter in the book was one of the ones where I had to stop multiple times while writing. R.I.P. Joel.
Here's another sample of one of the poems, this one's titled "Worlds". This piece was published when I was in 7th grade in a book called "Secret Hiding Places". I was a poet and didn't even know it... ha... I'll keep the corniness to a minimum. Lmao
Here's a sample of the one of the poems, titled "Fairweathers" by Myles Walker.
Just finished “Peace Is Every Step” by Thich Nhat Hanh and about to start the “Bhagavad Gita”. To me there’s just something about learning about other cultures that brings me a sense of serenity.
A collective art book containing Myles Walker's trauma narrative as well as over 100 original pieces of varied artwork.
Check out the new Kickstarter campaign that just launched!
A poem titled “Heaven Sent” from the upcoming book “Raw Thoughts: Memoirs From The Road Less Travelled”.
Do not judge me by my successes, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.
