Join the IWW!
We are a different kind of union because we ban dues check offs in our constitution. Dues check offs are when the employer takes money out of your payment to pay for your union dues. We believe giving our hard earned money back to the employer to act like a middle person for the union is antithetical to our principles. This 3rd parties the union and another way that business unions and employers cozy up. We want our union to be a voluntary association and be run by the rank and file. Where we know where our fellow workers stand in regards to our union and if we should speak to our co-workers on it. We don’t want the boss to know what workers are in the union. Sick of being beaten down by the boss! Don’t sit on the sidelines of the class war. Join up, get trained and organize where you work, help others to organize and build the union.

shifting into frog mode. did y'all know that there is a species called the pumpkin toadlet and they skip the tadpole phase and go straight to being little toadlets and they are soooo fucking small
Another fun fact about these guys, they are so small that their cochlea (the part of the inner ear that controls balance) does not function properly. As a result, these little toadlets can jump, but have a bit of a hard time landing. They just land however they land, which often results in them just throwing themselves and flopping onto the ground as seen here.

“XY.”
Currently on view until June 18th, 2022 at Rundgaenger Gallery in Frankfurt, Germany is the group exhibition, “XY,” curated by Saša Bogojev.
“XY” features artists that are members of either Generation X or the succeeding, Generation Y. With both of those groups having their life being strongly affected by the digital technology, computers, the Internet, and/or social media, the presentation conceptualized and curated by Saša Bogojev, examines the different venues through which those influences seep into their distinctive studio practices.
Either growing up with computer screens as part of their everyday life or merely witnessing the changes conditioned by the quick development of digital technologies, these artists eventually found themself incorporating it into their processes in a variety of ways. Whether working with some form of existing digital aesthetics, using the technical possibilities as a tool, source of inspiration, or compositional/aesthetic framework, or simply being inspired by its effects on society, the exhibition shows different paths leading from the screen to the gallery wall. So, although exploring painting in the Digital Age, XY isn’t focused on the digital painting format but is more focused on its effect on the traditional format, and will feature works by Arno Beck, Attilio Esposito, Christian Rex Van Minnen, Sun Woo, Botond Keresztesi, Maja Djordjevic, Bas Geerts, Pieter Schoolwerth, Hofman Julius, Lucien Murat, and Kévin Bray.
