A friend of mine shared this song on social media today. I played it a few times driving across a bridge over the local Bay; windows down, volume up, water still, like glass, but extra blue. Happiness vs Contentment "If that hiking trail leads directly into the path of a pack of wolves, contentment will have kept you safe. But, you’ll never see the wolf that way."
The thin line between Happiness and Contentment is a dangerous one.
It’s a question that has plagued wanderers for generations. Which should be our ultimate goal? Contentment?  Which somehow seems to imply settling, being just “okay” with whatever your situation is. Or Happiness? Which in itself seems to imply an “ultimate” or a “nothing to seek beyond this” feeling.
